Estate Windlight Controls

I'm sure a lot of you have already voted for this -- and I doubt votes will help a whole lot, honestly -- but it can't hurt, can it? VWR-7677 is a feature request for estate level Windlight controls. You know, the feature LL's been saying they'd add ever since Windlight first came out. I've accepted that we're never, ever going to get those volumetric clouds we were promised, but I keep hoping that one day, my sim might get foggy mornings...

No idea why they didn't put this in, seems totally ridiculous.

estate windlight controls and windlight settings as assets have been discussed as 'right around the corner' since at least a year to a year and a half ago, when Windlight office hours were still around.

So the question is... have we turned the corner (EDIT: and the goal been moved farther away)? or have we just not moved at all?

I can't believe this feature still hasn't been added.

We had it for a while during the beta (I remember toggling the settings for my own estate), then they took it away, makes it doubly sad...

I linked to this in my windlight meta issue: [#SVC-2736] The Windlight Project is unfinished. - Second Life Issues

Be sure to vote for that, and the oher linked issues. The whole windlight project is rather unfinished in general

We'll get Windlight estate controls sometime after they put in Havok 4. Oh, wait. hm.

Voted, nevertheless. Can't hurt. It's not the first jira they've ignored!
