Shapeshifting matter

I'm not normally a fan of the Register, but I found this article both entertaining and quite fascinating on the implications of the technological advances Intel was showing off at their most recent IDF event. While the wireless power stuff got the most attention, that was not all they showed off. Programmable, shapeshifting matter called catoms, intelligent radios, and the revelation that we are a mere 50 years from singularity (machines overtaking humans in intelligence) were among some of the fascinating (and terrifying) highlights. Worth the read:
