Baby being born.

Ok, now I was emotional when my kids were born for sure, but I sure as hell don't remember being this happy while the kids were actually ripping out. NSFW (live birth)
I still think birth is amazing, just don't remember being this giddy and happy. I remember it more like hoping someone stabbed me to stop the pain. I want the drugs she was on.

My mother always tells me I "just popped right out" and she never needed painkillers. But she's a full-blooded Sicilian. I always joke that it must have been all the olive oil that helped.

Maybe it was because all mine took there good old time getting out, generally over 20 hours. By the end I had, had it.

My mother passed out and woke up a week later in a bed on a maternity ward, with a scar on her tummy and a vision of her husband rocking me in his arms.

She says it was a much better birth than her first.

I was in labour for 20 hours (no drugs) got an epidural the last 2 hours, and watched the whole thing through a mirror at the end of my bed. It was fucking awesome.

I was delirious after the first 24hours.
Then just about died in pain after the c sections.
Amazing still blows my mind that our body can host another.
