i threw this together tonight as i was too tired to make Bieroks (recipe for those to come later)

Serving Size:
1 cup
  1. 1/2 lb of pennette (small penne) pasta (well 1/2 lb dry....then cooked)
  2. 1 jar of Porcini & Portabello Mushroom with Napa Valley Merlot Pasta Sauce
  3. 1 can of organic diced tomatoes, drained
  4. 1 - 4.5 oz bag of Hormel Picnic Bacon Crumbles
  5. 2 crushed garlic cloves
  6. dried parsley & basil
Preparation:
  1. boil the pasta according to package directions. drain the tomatoes
Instructions:
  1. once pasta is cooked & drained, i tossed it back into the pot, added the other ingredients and let it sit for a bit for the flavors to mingle. i think a can of chopped olives added to this would be fabulous as well.
  2. served with a mixed green salad dressed with homemade balsamic viniagrette.
