I love ginger tea (but I have it with lemon instead of milk, and sweeten with honey or sugar). It's a staple drink for me when I have a cold or feeling otherwise unwell.

Ginger Tea
Surreal Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 8,840 Blog Entries: 49	Description: Hot, spicy tea perfect for cold winter days... good for you too.
Other:	Ingredients:
Time: N/A Difficulty: Easy Serving Size: N/A	3-1/4 c hot water 1/2 c finely chopped fresh ginger (left unpeeled) 2 Tbsp loose black tea leaves 1/2 c evaporated milk 1/2 c sweetened condensed milk, or to taste
Preparation:
If you have an asian food store nearby, buy your ginger there.
Instructions:
Bring water and ginger to a boil in a 1-1/2 qt saucepan, then remove from heat. Stir in tea and cover. Let stand 3-5 minutes. Stir in milks, then pour thru a sieve into a large (6-c) blender, pressing hard on and then discarding solids. Blend until foamy, then pour in mugs and sweeted with more condensed milk if desired.
