Dangit, why can't I change the thread title and why couldn't I enter a subject before?

Cris, could you please change the title to "Thai chicken with spicy sauce"?

I had to look up Sambal Ulek. Hooray for recipes with ingredients I've never heard of (even if they're just chillies)! This looks so yummy.

Be very, very careful with it, it's really spicy.

I can't post recipes here either. I get a message "Please complete both the subject and message fields." but there are no fields with those names.

Also it wipes out everything I put in the recipe fields.

You can start a thread in the food forum, move it into this subforum using the thread tools and fill out the text fields for the recipe.

Thai chicken with spicy sauce
detrius Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Germany Posts: 2,305	Description: Delicious chicken à la Asia with rice and a spicy sauce.
Other:	Ingredients:
Time: preparation: 15-20 minutes, total time: ~ 1 hour Difficulty: easy Serving Size: serves two	12 tablespoons of orange juice 6 tablespoons of soy sauce 6 tablespoons of honey 6 tablespoons of sesame oil 1-2 teaspoons of sambal ulek 200 grams of carrots 3 clovers of garlic some ginger 1/2 cup of sesame seeds 1-2 chicken breast filets (about 400 grams) 1 cup of basmati rice
Preparation:
Get the ingredients, d'oh. Be in a happy mood, don't try to figure out how to post a recipe in this subforum.
Instructions:
Slice the carrots. Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, sambal ulek, garlic, ginger and carrots and put them in a casserole. Cut the chicken breast filets up. Roast the sesame seeds in a pan with some sesame oil, add the chicken pieces and let them sear briefly, the seeds should stick to the flesh. Put the chicken into the casserole, it should be covered by the sauce. Put the casserole into an oven at 200° C. After 20 minutes, turn over the flesh and let it roast for another 15 minutes. Cook rice. Bon apetit.
