As you pass the twisted metal gates you enter another world beyond the towering city skyline into dense forest and moss covered cobble pathways. Winding through the dense forest, sun beams break through the canopy casting glow to the lush green forest floor.

Dark forest fantasy gothica meets art nouveau elements. Alice in Wonderland meets Edgar Allen Poe in this dark Victorian gothic inspired fantasy.
Residential and commercially zoned area’s available. Building theme enforced to keep the ambience of the sim.

The city of Steelhead:

Steelhead is a themed city based around the history of the Oregon and Washington Territories before they applied for statehood to the union during the 'Guilded Age' of American history, mirrored to the Victorian Era across the seas in England.

Steelhead is not by the book historical, it is a themed city where its buildings and facades are loosely based on real life places. Because of Steelhead's size and growth and its presence of non humans, mad scientists, furries, tinies and everything else one could possibly be we are an alternate universe of historical fact. Role Play, historical clothing is encouraged but not required.

The People & Community:

Steelhead boasts a tight knit community of fine mad citizenry, mad scientists, mad girl geniuses, mad builders, mad furries, mad librarians, mad Timelords and sweet kittens among the very least of our society. (We're not literally mad, more just crazy mad) From humans to elves, to wolves and dragons Steelhead hosts a wide variety of demographic citizens.

Steelhead is a themed community and do not enforce role play of any sort nor do we allow others visiting or residing to enforce role play upon each other whether they be visitors or residents. We lightly theme ourselves our actions and our housing to the era in which we live in (19th C American Steampunk Victorian Western) We try not to discriminate against anyone as we encourage diversity within the city.

The Events of Steelhead City:

Steelhead Town Meetings: Held almost every Tuesday night at 7.30 SLT management sits and tells the residents of events, sim related things, technical aspects of SL, what has LL been doing? And general mayhem. The meetings are open to everyone, not just residents.

Steelhead Friday Night Dances: Steelhead hosts a friday night dance Dj'd by Fuzzball Ortega. Normally each dance has its own theme and everyone is allowed to dress up or come as you are. Starts 7pm SLT to 9pm SLT. Please refer to the events calendar to see the current theme and location.

Steelhead is a community over six years old on the grid managed and owned by TotalLunar Eclipse and Tensai Hilra, partners in SL and married in the real life.

As a citizen of Steelhead, I heartily recommend it whenever friends are looking for a new home. Nevermoor is disturbingly beautiful, and all of the other sims are lovely and lively. There are lots of weekly events, but it says a lot for the community that the Town Hall meeting is always well attended and FUN.

Steelhead welcomes all, it's home for many. Lots of wonderful shops to browse, and the denizens are interesting. Group chat is often hilarious, everyone is helpful and friendly (even the Jaegerkin, in their almost-comprehensible way).


We are Steelhead: a community, a state of mind, a mad fun place out of time.
