Business: Madhu's Cafe Blog Entries: 4 | Le Jardin de Resurrection I'm cheating a little by putting this in Project Development, because it isn't really my project. But I did contribute a tiny bit to the design, and I also made 5 animations and poses for the place, so I hope you'll all forgive me for putting it here. It's a nice place that I'm excited about, and I wanted to share it. Le Jardin de Resurrection is the latest landscaping work by landscape designer Stormy Aluveaux. Stormy is the designer behind the remodeled Madhu's Cafe (shown here) as well as the landscaping at Beebo's bar and shop, The Duchess and Brazen Women (shown here). Le Jardin de Resurrection was inspired by its setting in New Toulouse Algiers, a 1920s Bayou swamp town. Le Jardin is a tribute to New Orleans, capturing and symbolizing the spirit of revival in its lush growth and flowing water. One of Le Jardin's many water features, overgrown with colorful flowers and a contemplative place to sit. ![]() In another corner of Le Jardin, a bonsai and a shrine to Marie Laveau. ![]() Lush wild and overgrown, Le Jardin symbolizes the tenaciousness and resilience of life. ![]() The pavilion by the water offers a peaceful place to dance or sit. ![]() The centerpiece of Le Jardin is this grand fountain. ![]() Le Jardin is full of little details like this book, which gives out a notecard tribute to New Orleans. ![]() Thank you so much for looking!
