Debbie Wasserman Schultz is one of the few politicians I am proud to say comes from Florida. I'm glad she tore into the Komen people, and saved funding for a lot of women to be screened. That entire bullshit about "organizations under investigation" was just another right wing tactic to discredit Planned Parenthood.

Bottom line is Handel is just another right-wing loser who tries to blame everyone else for their own bullshit after they get caught. Right-wingers aren't the victims of bullying tactics; they ARE the bullies.

I'm surprised Handel didn't call Wasserman Shultz a `liberal' while she was at it. Because we all know that anyone who isn't part of the right-wing agenda is automatically a liberal.

I'm surrounded - daily - by people who think Planned Parenthood is some kind of drive-thru abortion service for Girls Who Can't Keep Their Legs Closed.

There is a mindset among those people that even setting foot inside a PP clinic, for any service, automatically makes a woman a "slut."

I don't think a member of congress should personally being calling a private charity and telling them what to do with their money. I am sure you guys would feel the same way if different parties were involved.

Members of Congress call charities about their policies /funding all the time and regularly engage in arm-twisting for their constituents and/or personal causes. The primary difference is that most of the people running charities don't publish their grievances in "tell all" books.

So. no I wouldn't likely "feel the same way" if different parties were involved.
