"Science 4 for Christian Schools"

Everything about that title is fucking hilarious! EVERYTHING!!!
EDIT: sorry I'm a dummy! was laughing to hard to realize that the title is Science 4, not Science 4 for Christian Schools.

still funny!

Observation, I do not think it means what you think it means....

Then again, I've had to sit down with more than a few apologetics and explain to them why Quantum Theory and Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle doesn't mean that God exists...

We get some funny ones in the E-cigarette forums....

Absolutely no idea where electricity comes from. Also pretty damn puzzled about how this got there and what it's for:

I have indeed heard, seen and felt electricity. And so did that poor pelican that ran into the power lines at work...
WTH is wrong with these people?!

I felt it when I put my finger on the "wrong spot"(broken and "fixed" stuff, gotta love it!) of a black light.

What a wonderful feeling it is when you see your hand not doing what your brain is telling it to do for 2 seconds.

Brain: "GET YOUR HAND OFF OF THAT RIGHT NOW"

Hand: " DUDE I'M TRYING EGHHHHHHHHHH, THERE!, HOLY SHIT THAT WAS WERID!"

Brain: " PFFT! you're telling me!!!"

And that's when I learned to respect Electricity! Damn Delayed reaction, you scary!!

I can detect its absence alright. Fricking power went out in a thunderstorm!

I'm typing this on my netbook in a 24 hour McDonalds parking lot using their wifi.

ETA: Power came back at 3 AM. I'm going to have to get a jump starter / aux power setup so I can survive overnight power outages. I live in a scenic part of the city with old trees.

I learned back in the early 80's that a LOT of electricity was in the back of a opened up German Television while I was busy trying to adapt a U.S. Atari 2600 to work on it. All it took was one slipped screwdriver. For those who wrote that book, perhaps they might wish to check there. Make sure that it's on and plugged into the 220 Volt AC current that our Barracks was wired for. In a pinch US Current will also serve.

You shove some coal in a big furnace, let the steam turn a magic machine ...and OMG electricity just happens.

What's the view of these people on the LHC - 'big hole in ground made by alchemists'?
