My Mood:  SL Join Date: 07/03/2004 Client: Niran's  | I've never been a Tom fan. Even as a little girl in camp when the others were fawning over Top Gun, I thought he was yucky. He has a pretty good prenup so even with a fight she'll be lucky to get more than child support (plenty enough I'm sure). Just saw this clip for the first time (can't stand Oprah or Tom) and wow... he was batshit insane then. Watch the end when he's throwing her out on stage, hindsight and all that I guess. I would've thought the scientology crap should have been enough to scare her off then.  Nope, she went and had a kid by him instead.

| Yeah I've never thought Tom Cruise was attractive. He looks like he's made out of plastic to me. And I keep thinking - Shouldn't Katie have thought about all this BEFORE she got knocked up and married the nut? Like it or not he is going to get some parental rights. And if even 1/2 of what I read about Scientology is true I wouldn't be surprised if Katie has an unfortunate accident or conveniently "commits suicide" in the not too distant future. |

My Mood:  | You know, I listen to him speak and I can imagine, how awful it would be to be a member of his household and actually have a mental health issue. I don't know if Katie Holmes ever suffered from post-natal depression, but can you imagine how difficult it would have been for her if she did? I believe she loved him. I think she married him and had a baby with him imagining they'd have a wonderful life together and then reality hit and she's now finally digging herself out of it. Good for her, but I'm sure it's all very painful too, and has the potential to become frightening given his connections, if it hasn't already. I wish her the best and I hope she has lots of support from family and friends outside that "church".
