First of all, Jesus KEPT the law 100%, therefore, you are wrong about Him. Secondly, if you actually read the bible, that's not why the people killed them.

These are the reasons why they were killed and it sounds a lot like what's happening at this site, now doesn't it? They were killed for preaching the word of God and for preaching in the name of Jesus Christ, giving the plan of salvation.

How is laughing at (or attempting to correct) your pathetic attempts to selectively link your interpretation of the Bible to actual history and science in any way similar to the executions of the early Christians?

Oh, here's something for you to consider. There are Muslims (one in particular who is active on another forum) who seek to justify the Koran by selectively linking passages to actual history and science... And it all sounds similar to what you are saying.

So how are some things science have given us okay and not others? Unlike what you think you can do with your bible I am afraid us secular folk do not allow that. So if you want to be idealogically pure you can not be a hypocrite. Come to think of it, many follow that one too. In some parts of the country you do not even try to *call* anyone before Sunday afternoon (and then only in an emergency).

The phrase 'remember the sabbath and keep it holy' has been taken to mean to do spend that day in prayer, ie, to do no secular work. While modern people just choose to use the internet 24/7 anyway (about as much as they breathe) only an IDIOT would not see that you are not driving people further away by your actions.

We are not talking about what people actually do but what your little rulebook says to do. Again, the only reasoning for throwing out that commandment would mean throwing out all of them .... so why do you follow the rest (assuming you do)?
