So I'm doing laundry and there is a guy and a woman downstairs in the laundry room, it's a bit of a madhouse on Sundays.

And.... he is the type who says everything he is doing like it is terribly amusing when it's just annoying. He is struggling with the machine that you pay to give you the card you use for the washing machines and saying... "so now I'm putting in the card! so how much money should I get! so now it is saying remove the card! wait, it's not working, I did remove it!..." yadda yadda and I'm thinking if I had to spend a half hour with him I would commit homicide. And even she is getting sick of this and says do you want me to do it? NO! He wants to figure it out himself.

And she says: "Warning: Not for use by retards."

And I nearly burst out laughing. Given recent forum events, I mean.

I stopped watching game of thrones because it started to move off from the books in a way that was really bothering me.

If they are turning Jon into an annoying whiner, that is really a shame. He is one of the best characters in the books, personality wise.

I haven't gotten that far in the books yet, but yeah, Jon is one of my favorites. I'm hoping that changes in the next season.

The kid is given enormous responsibilities from the start, has to make very difficult decisions and deal with all sorts of delicate situations, and he consistently rises to the occasion. He is a born leader.

Plus, the redhead got him laid. Often. I don't know how they are making her out to be but she wasn't annoying, really. It was his first love. Or lust. Or whatever.

She also wasn't "pretty" but this is tv. He came to love how she looked. Lots of sex will do that.
