It was in response to a comment that had followed a discussion Tracer and I were having about what "Federal income taxes" are.

If you happen to actually read what I have actually said you would know what I have said.

I am not your "stereotypical" anything. As I explained earlier, I came by my political opinions honestly and through a lot of personal soul searching. When I realized that the conservative side had abandoned their own humanity for the sake of doctrine and safety, I left them behind. As anyone with a bit of integrity would do.

But as for moving the goal posts - I can't believe you would talk about yourself like that. My message in this thread has not changed one bit. Fox lies. Everybody knows they lie. They make up their own news in service of a larger corporate mission to put the Right Wing in power.

You seem to be one of the few who hasn't gotten the memo. Do catch up, please.

That's the equivalent of jokingly referring to Obama as a terrorist. To a Fox News viewer, that's effectively what the word "terrorist" means and they might as well have called the Obamas sand niggers. I know I've heard more than one FoxNews viewer utter that phrase (in person and online). I was just trying to bring it out in language that you might actually understand as offensive. I guess that sort of worked, but, once again, your sheer stupidity completely botched the context.

I have never said it was a big lie, merely that it was a lie she used as her example of how Fox lies. It plainly was (according to the factcheck) a lie.

Your linked story does not even address her lie, but spins it elsewhere. Are we surprised?

A lie from Maddow is hyperbole?
Hyperbole from an editorial journalist at Fox is a lie?

Your take on all that is - Maddow really does know what she was talking about when she lied?

I think that in many of the instances people claim Fox lied, if the same standard you apply to Maddow were applied to Fox editorial journalists there would be very few instances left.

If it was referring to what I think it was, most people are woefully misinformed on the matter and routinely repeat misinformation they heard.
Repeating misinformation (while not knowing it is misinformation) does not equal lying - so if that turned out to be the case, you would not be lying.

Yes, FoxNews primes their audience because that's the narrative they are creating on a channel-wide basis. It's done for everyone to see, so this isn't exactly some conspiracy theory.

The thread is about an aQ letter and the contents therein which was about how they could exploit the US MSM to spread their message. As part of that we talked about "neutrality" since that was part of what the letetr was about. I posted information that ranked Fox on neutrality. Shortly after that is where your head exploded and the thread went off the rails.

I have never said that Fox never lies.
I have never said I don't think that much of what comes from the Fox network favors conservatives.

You may not have moved the goalposts in your head, but you have indeed moved the goalposts of what you posted about in this thread.

My (general) point (after my initial comments on aQ) is that everything anyone reads saying Fox Lied is not true. You (it seems) don't care about lies saying Fox lied because it helps your cause.

The fact that you cannot simply acknowledge that Maddow lied says much more about your integrity than me saying 'not everything people are told about Fox is true'.

I don't think I have said "I won" (although I think I am indeed correct on what Federal income taxes are).

I am plainly well aware of the study details since it is I who have been posting them, including posts in response to your fabrications about the study.

If the simple concept of what Federal income taxes "are" was taxing for you (see what I did there?), then I can only imagine how difficult it would be for you to grasp the concept of "more" and "most'. Imagine how long this thread would be if you had to be confused with more (shit I did it again) than one point at a time?

And after all this time you still do not understand that Federal income taxes are money.

A tax is a tax. A tax on money/income is still a tax. 'Federal income taxes' aren't money/income, they are a tax on money/income.
