In another case of groups trying to control what others can watch, instead of simply not watching a program, the so called Parents Television Council is trying to get affiliates of The CW to not air an episode of Gossip Girl next Monday because it contains a threesome. This is the same group that is always outraged about something, from Family Guy to Janet Jackson's nipple.

The topic matter is sort of fucked up for a TV-show about teens but this is why parents need to actually do some parenting sometimes (which sadly too few do).

Out of curiosity why is the topic "fucked up" for a tv show about teens..?

Maybe i'm a total weirdo.. but i had my first three some in highschool (and that was over 10 years ago) >_< it seems completely "realistic" to me... i mean teens are sexual. (i've never watched Gossip Girls though and have no idea if this fits in with the shows normal topics or whatever)

Also, of course i don't have children... but i guess i can see how it's "uncomfortable" for some parents to think of their teenagers doing that.

Because teenagers have enough bright ideas without television saying 'oh hey, maybe you should have a 3 some'.

This same reasoning got The Road Runner booted off the air because fricken dumb assed kids were too stupid not to try what they saw on TV..

It pissed me off when I was a kid and it pisses me off now.
