So. You don't think she'll be prosecuted for violating the law because she's popular?

I thought Palin was the Presidential Choice?

Palin approval rating drops in Alaska: Gov. Sarah Palin | adn.com

Quote:
Ask a governor if she'd be happy with a 68 percent approval rating and she'd probably laugh at the question. It usually doesn't get much better than that.

For Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, though, that represents a hefty drop.

Since John McCain tapped the first-term governor to be his vice-presidential running mate, Palin's sky-high home-state approval ratings have come down to Earth.

Above 80 percent approval for parts of her term -- she was at 82 percent in a key local poll twice this year -- Palin's popularity has swooned as new information about the local abuse-of-power investigation known as Troopergate has trickled out, and as national and local media pick over her track record as a governor and small-town mayor.

Surely, McCain will lose many votes because thousands of Palin supporters won't be able to find their candidate on the ticket on Nov 4th.

Sarah Palin will go back to Alaska, where she remains very popular, and will perhaps win another term or two as Governor. The next logical step for her would be US Senator. She probably has a reasonable shot at representing her state in the Senate if she continues to do well by Alaskan standards. A term as US Senator, and perhaps an appointment on an important committee or two, could give her some experience upon which to build a candidacy for president. I am not sure I see that happening though.

No matter how much she has "energized" the base of the Republican party, the truth is that most republicans realize she is not qualified to be the president of the United States. If McCain loses this year, as it certainly seems he will, the party will not be anxious to repeat the mistakes of 2008, and certainly not in 2012.

I originally wanted her to go back to Alaska and get eaten by a hungry family of polar bears:

(Looks like the little cub the bottom right does not think Palin would be tasty.)

But now I might LOVE her to run for president in 2012. The idea of her being subjected to multiple debates, more interviews on her own, and the RNC's campaign tactics makes me laugh in an evil way.

I agree.

It was a close race between the polar bears, Palin falling out of a helicopter into a welcoming pack of wolves who say things like "We look much bigger up close, don't we, Sarah?", and Todd Palin's successionist group making Alaska its own country and holding Sarah prisoner for treason due to the McCain/Palin "Country First" slogan. The bears won because of the 1) irony her being eaten by starving polar bears as she was against their listing on the Endangered Species Act, and 2) polar bears - even when covered with seal blood - are both cute and inherently funny.

And to anyone who takes this seriously and gets all fake hurt for the Republicans:

OK, just a warning... If McCain wins you may see President Palin shortly thereafter. McCain has had surgery for heart problems already and could go anyday now. On the flipside the rednecks are right when they point out that Obama could possibly be assasinated (heaven forbid) after all JFK was assasinated and he wasnt even black, he just had the nerve to try to change things. So taking the most pessimistic point of view... would you like President Palin or President Biden? your choice...think hard.

Well Biden is just as likely to drop dead as anyone else. He released his medical records without brain scans.
No brain scans in released Biden medical records -- chicagotribune.com

Quote:
Newly released medical records from vice presidential candidate Joe Biden do not include the results of any recent brain scans, which some experts consider necessary to assess whether the senator is at risk for a repeat of the brain aneurysms that nearly killed him 20 years ago.

Biden's most recent physical exam in July showed him to be in good health, according to a letter from Dr. John Eisold that the campaign released Monday. The letter from Eisold, who is the attending physician for Congress, described Biden's cardiac capacity as excellent.
So, who wants President Pelosi?

I would still rather have President Pelosi over President Palin, in fact I would rather have President Martha Stewart, hahaha.

I still can't get over the $150,000 for wardrobe and makeup. She should look a lot better for that much outlay.

Well Hillary was spending $3000 on hair and makeup sessions and unless she looks like a treasure troll without being snatched, I say the return on investment was extremely low.
