I heard about the page 6 account of Michelle mid afternoon snack. Nice to see the Obama's are in touch with the little people.

I have stayed at the Waldorf and a cheeseburger with fries is $33 so those lobsters are a real deal.

So what? She can afford them and paid, presumably, with her own money and not at tax-payer expense.

If anyone thinks that Obama or McCain are "in touch with the little peoples" (nice phrasing, BTW), they are being mislead. Obama is a former law professor, although he did grass roots community service. Michelle Obama works with the University of Chicago and its hospitals. McCain is the son and grandson of two admirals and has been in DC for over 15 years. McCain's wife has $100+ million and they own more than 6 houses - I can't remember the exact number, but neither can John.

You can't post stuff like this, Rebecca. You can only post stuff about the Republicans.

Stuff about the Democrats never matters.

She can post stuff about Obama, Eboni has posted all kinds of things. The difference is Eboni actually posts legitimate criticism, not fabricated interviews and conspiracy theory videos.

I am very sceptical but until we see what they do we don't know yet. They still swear by it.

Just because it was denied by the campaign, means NOTHING--not this campaign---that has lied and denied repeatedly.

Of course that bottle of Champange at 4 pm might have put her in an argumentative mood.

I think she needs to stop telling people to take low paying public service jobs while she has made 6 figures her entire career. I have no issues with anyone enjoying the finer things in life, I just take issue when they do and tell other people to suck it up and take one for the team.

What is the point of this bill again?

Did the Obamas' claim to be poor?

Or is it that they are elitist because Michelle eats room service at a fancy hotel?

This has always been a sore spot for me when it comes to political types.
They tell me they feel my pain when you know they are not eating fish sticks and baloney to make ends meet.

Except I hear Bill Clinton actually does like "normal" food.

In fact I was in a Polish restaurant in Detroit the day after Bill ate there.

When Bill breezed through Detroit on one of his campaign trips.
He stood up in the ghetto. Mumbled some words about feeling
thier pain. Then whisked off to dine at one of the most expensive
restaurants in Detroit. Free Press reported it and from what I
understand, Bill was not happy about that.

Must have been a different trip

The Polish restaurant was off Warren. No where near expensive and and was in a Polish neighborhood.

The Hostess/Cashier/Waitress (all the same person) was pretty proud of it.

It was one of those 5000 calories a meal Polish places where you are afraid to tip your plate because theres so much stuff piled on it.

The first few times I ordered room service I didn't notice the included gratuity, and I tried to tip the wait person, they refused, it wasn't until later I realized the tip was included. I love Hiltons!

Yes, I know what you speak of. Eat in one of those places
and it will keep you alive for a week.

I used to eat at this jewish deli out in Southfield. If you walked out hungry, it was your own fault

Cris, can you let that peabrain back in just long enough to rub her nose in this?

THE source who told us last week about Michelle Obama getting lobster and caviar delivered to her room at the Waldorf-Astoria must have been under the influence of a mind-altering drug. She was not even staying at the Waldorf. We regret the mistake, and our former source is going to regret it, too. Bread and water would be too good for such disinformation.
