This happened just an hour or so from where I live today (I am embarrassed for my community), and is just kind of... I dunno... it made me feel icky. I think McCain's words were very apropos and nice, but am I being prejudiced by thinking that it looked like it was killing him to say it? I dunno, maybe it was just true discomfort because of what those people said?

That video raised my respect level for McCain. That is how a President should act. That's the old McCain. The one who would reach across party lines and try to work together.

The only way McCain has a chance to win is if he stops listening to his advisers and goes back to who he really is, but I think it's too late for that now. The damage is already done.

I just love how when he asked her for further info she says "...it's a long story", and "...you'd have to call me". It's sad, how these idiots always wiggle out of having to explain their assertions.
