There's also this: a couple of images of African-Americans that appeared in the video introduction to McCain were apparently bought from stock photo services.

Except that when i image Googled Walter Reed i can't find the image that the convention used. It is out of focus at a really poor angle. And i know that their is a tradition of hiding symbols in political backdrops. I smell that their is moor to this mistery My best guess so far is that they are replaying an earlier green screen opportunity. i.e. they want to send the subliminal message that McCain can be anyone you want him to be.

Well, the Republigeeks must have some sort of strong, reverse Google-Fu, because I couldn't find the pic they used in ten pages of a specific search for "Walter Reed Middle School".

I did, however, find numerous pictures of the actress Rachel Bilson, who evidentally graduated from Walter Reed Middle School in 1996.

So I, um...kinda got distracted.
