I voted for Obama after being swung by Walker's cogent debating skills.

If I did have a vote it would a reluctant tactical vote for Obama as I doubt any 3rd party candidate who is standing who represents my ideals would stand a cat in hells chance in the US.

That said, I'm not holding my breath, unfortunately I suspect a McCain victory is more likely.

Of course if it all turns out to be a printing error and it's really John McClane running - Sorry Obama you are dumped !!!

Don't Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck always get write in votes? Mickey seems like a good wholesome role model. Donald has some anger management issues. So Mickey seems like the better choice.

But tbh, I haven't decided yet.

No you couldn't.

Its a campaign you could get in front of (as in "I'm getting ahead of myself"), or keep on the same level with (as in "I'm absolutely beside myself"), but I don't think you could get behind it.

Unless of course you can be in two places at once, in which case we'll have to get the bumper stickers reprinted to read "Heisenberg Koala 2008!".

Along with his anger issues, Donald also wears no pants. He's not wholesome at all. Think of the children...

I'm not an American so I'm not voting, but I'm glad I don't have to. We have this expression that translated is: "plague or cholera" and means that maybe either choice isn't that good. But maybe the saying would be "plague or migraine" LOL, one is a bit better than the other. A bit like we have in Sweden now. I would say other, if I would vote

Here in the US we also have an expression: "cop out." It means "to take the easy path." Simply deciding that neither choice is a good one is a classic cop out. This election may be one of the most important in the lifetime of many American voters, and we can't afford to have people taking the easy way out. For example...

Putting aside the candidates themselves for a moment, it is predicted that there will be two openings in the Supreme Court during the upcoming Presidential term. The political party that is in power will dictate the course of judicial decision-making for the next decade. If a Republican is elected we can expect reproductive rights to be curtailed, increased surveillance of American citizens, continuation of Gitmo-style imprisonment without basic rights, and the further use of torture as an interrogation technique.

Given that McCain has chosen an unqualified running mate with a far-right agenda, we have been given a preview of the type of official appointments he is likely to make in the future: the type that pander to the conservative core of his party without regard for the welfare of the American people. His judicial choices would likely be similarly disastrous.

In Barack Obama, Americans have the opportunity to elect one of the most potentially transformative Presidential candidates in recent history. This election will be a lasting barometer of our collective courage and intelligence. In many ways this election is a simple choice. Choose McCain and retreat into the "safety" of an idealized past filled with moral intolerance and fearful nationalism. Choose Obama and take a chance that we can move forward into the future with intelligence and compassion, remaining true to the American principles of progress both at home and internationally.

Or you can just cop out.

That's why I changed the expression, plague or migraine, I would gladly choose migraine over a plague. You don't have to be happy about it, but sometimes you have to choose the least bad thing.

I would have preferred 'other' anyway., but that might have been to "throw away your votes".

Since I have no faith in the American Public, I am concedeing. I am officially not voting again. It will not matter for me really. Dems always win in my state. I am just going to focus on getting myself in the right frame of mind to live with the blood thirsty Republicans for another 4 years.

How a VP Candidate changed this election is beyond me. What the fuck does a VP do??

Fuck this country. I wish I could move.

Edit to add- This is exactly why I shouldnt stay up playing video games all night. I become extremely cynical. Fucking Spore was a plot by the Republicans.
