McCain is nearly dead already, he's less boring?

Honestly, I do NOT find him boring, although I have been listening/watching Biden for decades.

I don't know what exciting is to people anyway.

Should he do a strip tease? Pull out his plugs? Howl at the moon?

Remember what they did to the exciting Mr. Dean.

Biden is only 6 years behind him. I think McCain is boring as well. I like Biden, just compared to the charisma and diversity Obama brings to the table, Biden seems a little on the dull side.

Nobody said you're lame. The repetition of that phrase is getting tiring though.

Heck yeah he is less boring.

Theres the whole POW thing.

And did he lie about the cross in the sand?

And him being a Maverick for so long and then shifting to the right the Bush Admin, maybe only to get elected.

Plus he is kind of creepy with the shifty eye thing.

And how come he doesnt wear a suit half the time, just that blue shirt?, when Obama always looks sharp ...

And how could he possibly do the traditional 2 terms?

Of course thats just the surface stuff .. then there is the whole stuff about issues.

-----------------------

Since he used to be way more center than he is now, how do we know how he really feels about anything?

Is trying to be elected McCain the right stance?, or was it Maverick. other Republican's yelling at him - his actual views?

You know, I have wondered that myself - which one is the real John McCain, because it has shifted so dramatically. I used to really respect the guy a lot. I wonder if he is more savvy than he seems and is just doing what it takes to get elected, or if his views have been polluted so much that there is no turning back. I would hope for the former but the latter is much more likely given his voting record.

You also have to wonder how much of that was the Media focus too.

But yeah - geez for years McCain was the Democrats' favorite Republican.

And now people compare him to Bush. Its crazy.

Don't discount we are only 72 hours into the vetting

Who knows what's unveiled tomorrow.

It's pretty amazing that bloggers are doing the heavy lifting the McCain staff should have done. We are in a new world.

You thought it wasn't?

Its been a reality show since Kennedy.

I guess people are just now catching on.

Like I have been saying since Biden was announced ---

Biden is Boring.

But his stance on the Illegal Trade Policies of China is an admirable one.

Wish Clinton had had those beliefs when it really would have made a difference.

I'm well aware election season is largely a dog-and-pony show -- I just didn't get your whole 'Biden is boring' thing. You certainly didn't waste any words to explain your joke.

Now I see you weren't talking about the issues at all, just their lives. So never mind, then.

Yeah you'd have to go back to the thread where we first talked about Biden.

Also Biden's stance on several of the issues does seem to be more conservative than Obama's

Which is disappointing.

I would have preferred someone who had been against the war and the Patriot Act from the beginning.

Well, I'm going to remind everyone that Obama is a centrist and all this crazy liberal talk is a bunch of nonsense coming from both the left and the right. Biden is no surprise.
