For sure, it's great that they were paying for it.

Btw, I'm sorry if I came across as criticizing your liking Chipotle. Everyone likes what they like. I was just saying that they're not on my favorites list.

Why is that? I kinda like Wendy’s, also she’s a redhead.
I also like how when I order “extra piggles” they put more than 3 of ‘em on.

Explained here, about Wendy's. I don't intend to convince anyone; it's just a me thing.

They should probably rename it to IHOINET. (International House Of I Never Eat There)

The one closest to me seems to do well enough. It initially was in a little area populated by restaurants and whatnot next to a shopping mall. That mall is long gone, now replaced by Walmart, and they seem to still be doing well.

Our branch doesn't have the same feeling. Gone was the novelty and it seemed very much like a Perkins or Embers, probably through no fault of theirs, but rather novelty = interesting.

I can say that their brand as IHOP was well known even prior to their arrival here and they wouldn't be wise to change it.
We got our first International House of Pancakes at least a few years before I was old enough to drive (which was 1964). They had dozens of different pancakes and little else. We were also delighted by the variety of syrup options. The husband and I go to the "new" one, in the same neighborhood, about once a month. Any time of day we always order breakfast including buttermilk pancakes.

I go to IHOP maybe twice a year, always wondering if I'm going for the Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity this time.

I always get waffles because I don't have room for a waffle maker.

Mmmm...waffles. I cannot remember the last time I've had a proper waffle. It's not something I ever mastered as I've never had a waffle maker.

Sure, I've had hundreds of "Lego my eggo" offerings over much time, but no comparison to the times I've had the real deal. I do make one hell of an omelet though, if I might brag with a touch of humility. My family and friends constantly ask me to make them one.

Pretty sure you get a waffle with the Tiny freebies at Raglan Shire.

HUGE missed opportunity, here. They could have renamed to International House of Food and take on David Hasselhoff as a mascot. (O.o)

Let's admit it was the best non-political advertising campaign of the year. Nobody cared about IHOP before, and now it is the top trending topic. We all have been played.

Speak for yourself. IHoP has always had good breakfasts and a variety to choose from. Far more breakfasts to choose from then even Denny's, which is the closest thing to a Waffle House you will find in the Pacific Northwest. Both serve good food but the Denny's are shutting down.

https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUser...nd_Oregon.html

It was shut down with no warning, like so many others.
