Feynman as a leader? Well, maybe as a team leader but I am not sure how he would do as anything higher up. My vote would be for Oppy since he knew how to heard cats and get them to develop the bomb.

I liked Carter when he was in charge over here. Too bad I was too young to appreciate it more.

Interesting that out of this list you list two women, but one is a Twitter persona (i.e. not real) and the other a fictional character from a movie (i.e. not real). I guess it's a good thing you also list Bob Hawke, who sounds like the Australians made him up, and Feynman and Zappa, who are dead.

That show has never been on Dutch tv.
And the BBC was only available in places along our coastline in those days.

In 2016 we had a dip, no question, hopefully some people have learned their lesson though.

OK, toss in Grace Hopper and Buckaroo Banzai.

No, definitely not Chris Knight. How about the military guy who walked out of the conference room in the beginning? He seems competent and ethical. Unfortunately I'm not sure he got a name.

Yeah, certainly not Chris unless you were planning a party and needed some things from the campus physics lab.

Gerhard Schröder.
He wasn't and isn't perfect, but he knows the job of running Germany already and even more important, he knows how to deal with other countries leaders without taking seat in their arses.

An interesting observation, but even somewhere as generally progressive as this forum, I'd say about 75-80% of the folks being listed are still men.

Don't think we've come a long way after all, despite old ciggie commercials.

I wonder sometimes if she's about the only thing keeping me buying the Expanse books.

And I really hated her at the beginning.

I could check the DVD (yes, I bought it), maybe they will say something in the commentary.

Checked the scene (youtube has it as the teaser to rent the movie) and imdb. He is only credited as George.

"George"

Some people don't get a last name, like Cher.

Oh, no.... I'm way to introverted and shy - though, in high school I did dream that I was president, had a tardis and I made a lot of people very angry, so they were going after my family.

Hey, it was a dream - considering I grew up thinking I couldn't ever be president because I was born overseas [to military family], it wasn't even one of those 'one day, I want...'

Failed? By what possible criteria?

When Obama took office, the entire world was literally broke and broken. thanks largely to the US. No President since Truman had walked into such a mess. Eight years later we were enjoying the successes that Trump is now taking credit for.

Under Obama, the economy gained a net 11.5 million jobs. The unemployment rate dropped to below the historical norm. He created more jobs than Bush I and Bush II combined and the economy gained jobs for 75 straight months – the longest streak on record.

Under Obama, Gays were given the right to marry and this was CELEBRATED at the White House, not demonized.

Under Obama, after-tax corporate profits also set records, as did stock prices. The S&P 500 index rose 166 percent.

By the time Obama left office, less American military personnel were fighting in wars overseas.

Under Obama, the number of people lacking health insurance dropped by 15 million. Premiums rose, but more slowly than before.

Under Obama, illegal immigration DECLINED: The Border Patrol caught 35 percent fewer people trying to get into the U.S. from Mexico.

Under Obama, renewable sources of energy power increased 369 percent. Coal production declined 38 percent. Carbon emissions from burning fossil fuel dropped 11 percent.

Facts, not Feels.

What President Trump Inherits
