You are correct. Just know also it does little to sway wishy - washy voters like myself who are not loyal to any party.

At this point there are hundreds of thousands of us that you couldn't convince we shouldn't be voting for Obama, though alot of us can be sold on the fact that we should be voting for McCain.

So far I see the same tactics being used in 2004 that made me not vote for Kerry. I instead decided not to vote at all, mainly because of the Bush tactics. I will not fall for the same thing again. I regret it now because I think America lost out on a great leader in John Kerry.

Each candidate stands alone. It's possible to hate them both and vote for one. Or love them both and vote for one. Or vote for neither.

Since when did disagreeing with you, civilly I might add, mean antagonistic or an attitude problem... and frankly your "get some meds" is over just the kind of line that you throw a 5-page rant about and demand apologies for.

Oh.. and just so you know how assholish that comment was, I'm currently taking 5 meds and scheduled to go under the knife to have three pituitary tumors removed the first week of August, but none of that means I can't detect someone with a hard-on for another forum poster or a poorly reasoned argument.

I've seen you launch vicious personal attacks on people and all that will happen if you try that with me is that I will put you on ignore.

You can interpret what I said as pissy, but it's your interpretation. I disagreed with you, and like I said... if you say it in a public forum, it's open to response by anyone. You often jump into threads where you weren't addressed, so I don't see how you get off on telling anyone else not to do it.

You want to rag on Eboni, go for it.. I could care less about the personal drama agendas around here. If you make a statement I disagree with in the process of that, well I'm going to say so.

I agree/disagree based on the issues, not on if I like somebody. There are very few people on this forum who I dislike, yet I have disagreed with any number of people's statements.

I'd suggest taking disagreement less personally. If I want to insult you, you won't have any doubts whatsoever of my intent.

It seems that he said he would use it if McCain also agreed.

McCain wouldn't agree, Obama decided not to use it, now suddenly as it's politically advantageous for McCain to be sanctimonious about it, McCain is all over the newspapers about how he's going to use public financing.

While, ofcourse, still utilizing the loopholes he's managed every other campaign.
