I'm suprised there hasn't much discussion about it, When I first came across this earlier this year, but as Joshua says - He was cleared in the investigations - But (IIRC) still castigated as showing poor judgement .

Be that as it may, O. J. Simpson was found not guilty of murder. To my knowledge Simpson wasn't criticized for "questionable conduct" by a senate investigation, either.
