I love this one. Had actually found it elsewhere and added it to my custom ones.

This one is too funny. I need excuses to use it (Maybe I should start posting in PRS).

So are you just going to let people stumble across that other one on their own then?

Oi.
What's up with forums raiding deviantART emotes? Like the little notice at the bottom of deviantART: Emoticons actually ever stopped anybody. >>

I don't think they really care though, dA is drama central and in my years there nobody has ever whined about it.

So, just sayin'. C: If anybody wanted to know where they're from, I guess.

Hmmm, I just looked through the emoticons at your link and I've seen a number of them on other 'smiley' sites. Maybe they did originate on deviantART, and maybe they didn't, but since they're available elsewhere, you may want to reconsider your assumptions of where Cris got them and what notices you think he ignored.

A lot of them originally came from DeviantArt, having been made by members there and then grabbed by anyone and everyone for "other smiley sites". Everyone ignores the warnings on DA as that community has become such a joke, people take it as seriously as Livejournal icon repositories.

Yes, I understand that, I just didn't like the 'zomg, emoticon thief!' tone of the post when there are a multitude of other places Cris might have found them with no usage notes attached...it was accusatory rather than informative.

I didn't get that from her post at all, more curiousity, but OK.

Really?

To me, this assumes that's where Cris found them...

Yes, really. Everyone knows that the warnings of "legal action" on DA are a complete joke now. The post seemed more like a general comment about forums rather than this specific one. Either way, it doesn't matter.

Some are on deviant Art, but that may not be where he found them.
Maybe he or whomever submitted them to him has an account there.

I do have an assumption, but it's not the one you think I have - I think most forum owners get these smileys from sites besides dA. Not everybody knows about the art version of Myspace, but it's easy to whack 'smileys' into Google.

Sorry for sounding accusatory, I didn't mean to. :C
