There is an official SLU group in Second Life, called SLUniverse Members. It is open enrollment and free to join.

If you were previously in the SLUniverse.com Fans group, I closed that one and kicked everyone out as the group chat was endlessly bugged in it.

Is social chatter permitted in the group chat or is it announcement-only?

I just arrived in world, and saw the message:

"Cristiano Midnight: (Saved Sat Oct 11 16:39:30 2008) You have been ejected from 'SLUniverse.com Fans' by Cristiano Midnight."

I hadn't been on SLU all day yesterday due to RL stuff, so I hadn't seen this thread yet. But when I saw the above message I freaked out!

I thought I'd been bad and got thrown off SLU!

Maybe I'd done or said something that really ticked off Cris? Maybe someone fabricated some horrific lie about something I never said?

Of course I immediately came here and found this thread. Phew! Now I'm happy in knowing that everybody got booted from that group that I hardly ever saw any traffic in anyhoo.

I'm glad it's gone, 'cause that's one less thing to endlessly scroll past all the time when looking thru my groups.

Yes, just once and for all clarifying which is the right group - there were two of them.
