Cool 3-D Cross-eyed Stereograms

I just posted a bunch of 3-D Cross-eyed Stereograms on Flickr as a slide show.

To view these, cross your eyes until the crosshairs visually meet in the center.

Lots of people can't do this so if you have trouble seeing the 3-D effect, you'll have to find someone who CAN cross their eyes and watch them go "ooh" and "aah", or wait until I can somehow manufacture ViewMaster viewers for everyone.

Here's the link to the Flickr slideshow...

Have fun!!!

Awesome pics! I wondered what SL would be like in 3D and now I have an idea.

Hm I've never had trouble with Magic Eye(s), but I couldn't get these to work at all. Trying to cross my eyes to move the crosshairs never made them progress very much and in the end I just gave myself a headache.

Cool thread though.

They're not perfect stereograms but they work for the scenery (mostly), don't try to focus the avatars.

To view them you have to shrink the display/browser so that the two crosshairs are as far apart from each other as your eye axes are, or smaller.

Yeah - imagine how my brain and eyeballs felt after working on these for several hours :-)

But then, I've had a lot of experience at making goofy faces.

Lol - I've been talking for so many months about my 3D photos and never got round to posting any. Now I've been beaten to it, sort of (mine are real life 3D photos of Japan)

Doh!!! But hey, at least this gives you lot practice for viewing mine when I get round to posting them.
