Business: Organica | C-Mount Lenses? So somehow, poking around on Kijiji and Ebay recently, I got interested in lenses for 16mm film cameras, which apparently can be used on SLRs provided you use an adapter and don't mind manual mode. Have any of you given these types of lenses a try? What do you think? I have been thinking about getting a nice fast 75mm prime. They are less expensive and if this would work for a DSLR, i would go for it in a snap. |

Business: Organica | Bleah! ok forget it. i didn't read down the description far enough to see the c-mount > dslr adapters for this will only give a macro effect. Apparently these lenses are quite sought after for 4:3 cameras though. |

| I suppose there's also the issue of whether these lenses would cover an APS-C frame or full 35mm frame, even if you had a thin (EVIL/mirrorless) camera that could mount them in non-macro mode. |

Business: Organica | it is a sensor size issue, definitely. Given the larger apertures these cameras seem to handle though, i really wish i had a 4:3 camera to try these on. |
