Hey Randy, a bit of a rough start that you handled with aplomb and good humor. So, welcome to SLU. We're only this cranky on days of the week that end with "y".

As for your blog, good luck with that. The topic of SL > RL relationships cannot be beat down with a stick. God knows we've all tried, and if you do a search for the topic on the SL forums you'll probably be crushed in an avalanche of thread titles, so you're addressing a need. Granted, there's probably a reason most sane people steer clear of this topic, but no one who posts on SLU can claim sanity so don't pay them any mind if they try that gambit.

'Randoym Randt', M.A., is a Sustainable Capacity Development Strategist who has recently worked toward sustainable projects with the University of New Hampshire, Intertribal COUP, and the Hopi Tribe. With an M.A. from Penn State in Instructional Design/Teaching English as a Second Language, Randoym's background is in certification and educational design, multinational non-profit development, wildlife rehabilitation, Linux and Open Source Software, and Indigenous development strategy.

Randoym has worked across many unique sectors in many diverse populations, including high profile work in Linux and Open Source Software in Pakistan, China, Francophone Africa, Canada, Germany, Bulgaria, and several other countries.

As a strategist and educator, she's spoken at conferences with the U.N. in Geneva, in Jamaica, Peru, Chile, and cities across the U.S. She's a founder of a fledgling Gender Equity and Free and Open Source Software project called WOWEM in Canada, the US, and Peru through The Foundation for Building Sustainable Communities.

Randoym is a recent graduate of the Master Naturalist and Watershed Steward through the University of Arizona, and has been working on Second Life since June of '07 as Whistle Pinion/Randoym Randt.
