My Mood: | I ran into one of the BM admins in world and pelted him with questions about the state of the game. Much of the stuff we are used to seeing in 3D Virtual worlds that isnt there yet will eventually be added. The current program is "very beta". Keep that in mind. |

XBOX Leaderboard: 18th | My main curiosity is whether it will allow for new experiences... like, say I wanted to create an open-ended RPG on my... city? shard? planet? Could I do that and have pre-made systems set up for that (combat, item stats, etc)? Or will it be months of scripting?

Alternatively you might build an outer space 'city' space and then rent areas within that where people could build a space station, explore planets, have starship combat etc... Or you might want to build a convention city running events such as concerts with 1000's of people attending on the simpler end of things where very little (relatively) would need to be done. So it might be months of scripting and modeling, or it might not be much effort at all depending on how much you want to customise things and what other developers have done and you want to re-use. | |
