Beta testers are not allowed to talk about FreeRealms, so I can't say anything except to encourage others to check out the beta - they seem to be sending out invites now after quite a wait.

site obviously doesn't like noscript... pokes the site some to stop trying to give me no javascript errors when I have enabled the site for it.

I noticed that. I had to briefly enabled scripts globally.

Why can't these sites host all their scripts at a single domain?

just signed up for it too, love the cross between a mmorpg, virtual world, and the mini games look fun from what the video showed.

as long as items dont cost too much, you can get free stuff, or the station cash is cheap enough, it should be successful

That looks very cute, sort of like There meets World of Warcraft. It being free is a nice bonus and it looks like a very social atmosphere. I'd wonder if it has voice support...

One thing bothers me about it though, the target demographic is 9-14 isn't it? I'm not sure I want to go back to playing a game that's populated mostly by children. It always feels wrong when you find out the person you've been raiding and talking with hasn't even hit puberty yet. Sure you could just stay in your circle of friends I suppose, but they all eventually leave and you end up alone and then you leave too...
