It looks like they just added guilds today - I wonder how they work. If they are as screwy as the buddy list/chat window is, they won't be very useful. So far there is not an SLU one that I know of - I am not sure how many people still play. I've been holding off for a bit while I play the Sims 3 and some other stuff, but I do still play FR and I am looking forward to the improvements they will make.

It lost its hold on me, finally. It certainly took longer than I was expecting! But no, to my knowledge there isn't an SLU guild, and I agree that if guilds are as screwy as my friends list last time I logged on, we'll probably have to remake it five or six times.

I haven't played in well over a month now, but it's still on my laptop. I've just had too many other things to do (and other games to play).

One of the reasons I have not really played lately (apart from being too busy and TS3) is that it got really boring once people stopped logging in as often (or dropped off my list thanks to all the bugs). The group chat made the game a lot more fun, even if we didn't always play together. If the guild system actually works and allows us to chat/group more easily while we play, it would be great! I would join.

Aww, now I feel bad for abandoning Free Realms.

Obviously this means you need to get Guild Wars and come play with us over there

Ah! Now I see where everyone went!

I haven't played GW in forever (if not longer!). I will have to go dig into my big box of abandoned games and see if it's in there.

You guys would have to put up with an old newb though. All I remember about GW is lots of buttons, being confused about what skills to pick, really stupid henchmen and screwing up my armor with poor dye choices...

In fact, they included a really neat ability to swap and trade builds, so if you don't want to make your own one of us could just give it to you

I lost interest in Free Realms pretty quickly besides I don't have any time for MMOs since I'm in 3 MMO betas. Too bad I don't get paid for it.

I think I started losing interest after I'd explored everything. The graphics are really fun, but after a while the quests were the same. I liked the various mini games (farming, kart racing) the first fifty times I played it but...

Perhaps if I'd gotten into the card game. They seem to be pushing that, but I found it a bit yawn. Funny, as I liked Magic back in my misspent youth. Perhaps you just can't go home again.
