Late to the game, but....wow, just wow. I am awestruck at the work that went into this. I'm a bit too cheap to buy the doggie I want, though. Ah well, just hoping I can find something fun with the treasure tickets.

I like the wandering quests, as I just love sightseeing. The only real downside seems to be a lack of adult conversation :/ But on the other hand, I've lured my husband away from his hack and slash games and we'll go brawling together. He's got a very tough looking pixie now

My friends list exploded and died. Nobody is on it anymore Every time I add anyone new, they're gone a day or so later.


But I do have some awesome news... I finished all the free collections!! The only ones left are the ones that need membership, and I don't care I FINISHED THE COLLECTIONS OMG!

225/227. I can't complete Sacred Keys without the Key to the City* (granted from a Member quest) or Snowhill Protector without upgrading to Member, and there are fifteen Member profession quests (three for each job). There are also 3-5 pet specific collections which can be got from when your pet digs up chests But I've gotten everything else there is to get for free

*It's possible it drops, just very very rarely. I've actually put out a thing on the forums that I'm willing to pay 50k gold for one.

They majorly increased the range on chat. Now it's pretty much the entire region

And now you're having the median age range inflicted on you, lol. I open up a whisper with someone who's not on and make my chat box really small to ignore them.

They censored.... numbers Apparently some kids were exchanging phone numbers and they're trying to quash it.

Unfortunately, now everywon has to talk like those child avi's What level are you? I'm level twinty! But my Brawler is only foretween!

The irony of course is that it will always be possible to communicate that information if you really wanted to, people will always find ways around the filter and all they're doing is pissing off 90% of the population who just wants to say "someone" without #'s.

If they wanted us all to speak in Navajo or Danish they should have just made it the default language

On another note, any ninjas out there want to buy a Gi? I bought a lvl 20 Dancing Monkey Gi back when I was a level 8 or something and then found the Striking Serpent one much more smecksy. It was 9000g but I just want more than the merchant will give me for it. 6000g?

Yeah, I'm feeling myself becoming increasingly annoyed with the way they run the game, the chat filter was overzealous to begin with, but now it's basically impossible to have a normal conversation without asking "what did you say?" every two lines. My friends list still isn't working after a month, which basically killed all social aspects of the game for me. It's sad, I think the gameplay is pretty fun.

I sort of want an MMO that is casual and easy to pick up like Freerealms and isn't aimed at kids.

According to the Guild article it said that it looks like Guilds will have their own chat channel. I'm guessing it will work across servers.

That's my only real complaint with the game so far (well, besides its demographic, which makes me feel as if I've gone back to high school). Chat is fairly worthless, because you hear EVERYONE. It ought to have a shorter range like SL does, with unlimited range for your group.

And the friendslist really needs fixing. I mean, I live with my primary adventuring companion so I can just shout "Hey, what server are you on?" across the room. But if I couldn't do that, there seems to be no way of finding out WHICH other server a friend is on.

That said, this is really silly fun, and great for a hour wind down in the evening. I love all the little things I find, like the Robgoblin traveling show, or seeing a dog run by chasing a squirrel. I imagine I'll get bored with it eventually, but until then
