A new warpstone in Briarwood was much-needed, but I wish they could have introduced it before I lost the need to go into combat minigames

There is. But few went there specifically to race because there was no warpstone. They'd just go to other racetracks instead. That's no longer the case if there's really a warpstone on the inside of the maze.

I've been there many times with Max, Ingrid, Midi, etc. without having to worry about hit-and-run friend and group requests from passers-by.

Oooh I see, yeah those are so annoying. I wish there was a way to just auto-refuse friend requests. I always get them when I'm trying to do a minigame or stood outside an instance changing outfits.

Now that I think about it, it was always pretty quiet and peaceful in Briarwood. Should we go all NIMBY-ish about the warpstone?

According to one of the captains guarding Briarwood, a new military camp may be established soon in the area.

Also, it's kind of disappointing that just as you get all the cool looking armour and weapons, you run out of reason to use any of them, since you can't accumulate experience anymore. They should have capped the levels at 25, or scaled it better so that you got the cooler equipment at 17 and then a few levels to play with it.

So, now that I know where the SLUers gather on FR, is there a way to find each other in-game? Does FR have any grouping mechanisms?

Weird, last night I was asked to go to briarwood to ask someone about the feasibility of placing a second warp stone there. The NPC at Briarwood said No way, too many thornbushes...would tangle the clothes, etc. (note: not doing the quests in any sort of order so don't know if this is an older/invalid quest)

Sunfire Lamps aren't new actually, there are just a ton of Robgoblin Junkpile collections.

Yes, Moonstone comes from the gold mine, and Fire Agate from rich gold nodes. Go out and find some rich silver nodes and you'll level Miner in no time. If you're good at the game you can get 400-500 stars per game.

Sword and Hammer Essences of Fire both come with the completion of the "materials" collections. And in that vein, the stories give you necessary pieces for the materials collections. Finish the stories and you'll basically finish everything else.

My Friends list is totally broken I haven't seen anyone in days, and when I do see people they can't see my whispers.

On a brighter note, Miner and Blacksmith now at Lvl 20. I decided to do chef next, thought it might be useful to be able to make stuff to help in combat when I return to my ninja. Chef now at lvl 13, doesn't seem to be as much of a grind as the miner and blacksmith.
