Ugh, OK, it's not blocked yet, but the game play on this computer...I was in for all of 5 minutes to see if I could buy a pet yet (I can't!

I read on the beta forums that the only way to get a permanent pet now is to buy it on the marketplace after launch. They changed it with the update that was either Friday or Saturday.

I am also still waiting for my name to be approved.

I just went into the adoption place and whistled and one came to me. I called him Zippy and he's now on my list of pets.... and he's very unhappy.

I signed up to be part of the Beta this morning, but I haven't gotten the magical email that will allow me to register and create a character.

How long does that usually take?

**edit: I only registered in the last hour or so, I just have no patience. I got the email saying they will let me know, but nothing else so far.

For what its worth I signed up for beta last month. And just got the invite but I think it only took a week after they opened closed beta.

I've tried two pet adoption places and they both only allow the brief trial...no option to buy.

I'm just totally confused and disorientated by the whole thing. I feel like information is being bombarded at me from all directions.

The pet adoption centre was pretty close to my first rez location. I'll add you when I login shortly Lourdes.

If there were such a thing as multiple servers in the Beta and I'm just making this up because there's no way I could possibly really know what letter might the most SLU populated server start with as if anyone on SLU might be playing which I of course have no way of knowing either yeah?

They may or may not have just opened a second server, so the SLUers may or may not currently all be on server 1.
