Has anybody done the Turtle Tag quest in the Sanctuary? I haven't been able to find a single turtle. I read on the forums that the quest really should have a visible timer, because you only have three minutes to complete it. And one person said you have to quickly run up the hill to where the water is to find the turtles. But I have dropped the quest and picked it up 3 times now and I have not seen a turtle. There are some chickens in the water though. At least, they look like chickens.

The turtles look like sparkly snakes with shells...I found them all, but the last one took me longer than 3 minutes. If there's a time limit, they must have imposed it recently.

Oh, and I saw you in Stillwater, Persephone, but you disappeared before I could speak or try to add you!

There are definitely issues with the "find" quests, the chicks at Perry's farm never showed up and the turtles never show for me either. There's a lot of talk about them on the forums so I'm pretty sure the devs know about it.

I had the worst time with it when I started, but once I successfully completed the main objective once, I was able to repeat it fairly consistently.

They're maintenancing or something anyway...it's down.

Hmmmm ... were they up the hill in the area with the ring-shaped lakes? I assume they were in the water? People seem to be saying that some of the quests are pretty bugged right now. I heard some people in a town upset that an NPC had apparently disappeared. The joys of playing in Beta

They're on the land near the water and are fairly large. They do have sparkles coming up from them as 'markers.'

Initially I was always struggling to get 14 of the gold things (copper? I can't remember. ). It seemed more down to luck than skill to win the task because the appearance of the gold things was so rare and random.

Then on my last item I got 28 gold things without even trying.

I wonder if those games get easier as you level up and acquire more advanced tools?

OK, weird thing I reported today: I did a chef quest in Stillwater and she wanted me to make Spiralmint Steak, which I did, but neither piece was counted by the quest tracker. I looked at my items again and discovered she'd given me a second recipe for the dish, which actually had slightly different quantity requirements, and that one did fulfill the quest. Both recipes do have the same name though so, if you do that one, make sure you use the recipe that shows up last in your list.

I noticed that the other day. It duplicates the recipe if you already had it, and you have to select the second one in order to complete the quest. (That bug is mentioned on the forum too.)

I have black hair Just have to scroll through it a bit, and there are black clothes but damn they're EXPENSIVE (found it at a brawler store in Blackspore)


But yeah, it's pretty clear that character customization was definitely not a big focus, just a part of it and not a draw.
