I just learned that I helped perpetrate Copybot. It's news to me considering to this day I still have never seen nor used Copybot, was very outspoken in joining the protests against it in campaigning LL to finally stop half-assing their policies around content theft, but apparently I've nevertheless helped perpetrate it:

LaLa's posting here about legal council is not wrong in my opinion. She and her team were pretty much run through the ringer here and on a couple blogs. I am glad she said she is going to defend her company. Most of these 3rd party grids don't have leaders with guts and to see her say she is looking out for the interest of those who invested in LCO through time or money makes me say "you go, lady!"

This is also the conclusion that one can come to, if the motive was more transparent, rather than an always side stepping, "did I say that, no I didn't say that..." with Prok.

I am getting the impression there is something very wounded about her/him and its so much so that the only level that she/he can communicate on is absolute loathing for anyone who doesn't share exactly the same opinion and absolute anyone who doesn't "qualify" to share or have a similar conclusion, even if in a different mindset.

I've been studying reactiveness, and the "FIC" list ( LOL) and the only thing that comes to mind is a person who is jealous and doesn't know how to express those things in an upfront and direct way. Sort of like Hitler being rejected as an artist and goes on to be a killer of all arts he deemed as "subversive" by the perpetuation of dogma and doctrine.

Is what Prok does any different? Obvious somewhere, he/she has those who may actually embrace his/her philosophies "FIC" are generally people who one would not call supportive of the mind police tactics as Prok would have.. they do not see the ONLY aplication of vitual worlds as an exclusively PORN environment only with nothing else but given the LCD what they want, and that creative content is, and should be under the control of a restrictive few who think the same way as he/she does...(simple content that sells and land)

When one bitter alienated, bored and possibly, just possibly psychotic person demants to becoming heard and doesn't listen to reason what IS one to do? If the plan is to polarize, is the goal actually met by this behaviour? Sure we can ignore, thats a "correct" way to deal with things.

Collectively we can mention the name, but from now on, if I do write on the topic of such a person, the rule number one is, "never mention them by name" (on a blogg or tag unless really really important like Vint's rules for engagement)
but then rule number two is going to surprise, "never back down", this is the problem, the tactic of illogical thought becomes tired and one wants to give up and let them have the floor just because they whinge all too much, I say, NO, let them tire of you..

of course, I would say that.
