Be relieved, I think. Fighting Prok is tiring,and she doesn't work on any sort of logic in my experience.

I've tried a couple of times to respond (polite-ishly) to some of the statements that really freaked me.

You don't get an answer, just another line of gratuitous, sweeping, idiotic, often irrelevant raving.

To me (I'm a pro editor in RL), she's just TOO WORDY. Writes fairly well in that she can string sentences together and now and then has something of a point. But sadly, it's all wrapped up in way too much spite, hate, frustration, and of course all this conspiracy business.

And here we are feeding her need for an audience yet again, me included.

She's wordy, she's ridiculous and unpleasant. But she's clever - because she's getting what she wants: attention.

But then seriously, she had a rampage about child skins on her post about Massively.. and eventually JUMPED to a conclusion, that if you support the free enterprise of people who make skins for child avatars EVEN though the underpants are baked on, and you use such skins and avatars for non sexual purposes, that it was because you are a "pedofile enabler" AND or you have some sort of mental problem and are caught up in some roll play, either way she finds a place to push the buttons and makes people have to rally to defend freedom to choose something.

I'm not saying that everyone is going to buy into the crap, but when you start drawing lines and polarizing people to attack everything (that is people who don't know or understand her methodology) you get people even AGREEING with full hearted ignorance to what exactly she is representing.

Someone mentioned that Prok is a psi Vamp, being that I have gotten to know the type well she is possibly a small tool for a bigger, even more toxic organisation of people.. people who use her to get at the life and creative content which flurishes in SL.

I didn't come here to talk about Prok, but I'm glad to see that people are very aware about what she is and what her motives are, even if there is no metaphysical element to it all...

I don't think that's true. I think she could be locked in a room all by herself and she'd blog to the cockroaches.

She strikes me as being about one step this side of Ted Kaczynski for rambling monologue manifestos on the brain. Kaczynski was brilliant and had a PhD in mathematics, but somewhere along the road some of his wiring shorted out and he stopped making sense and started making bombs. Prok's not to the bomb-building stage, but if she ever was she would probably make a C4/detonator setup into some Rube Goldberg obfuscation.

When someone cannot expound on any topic - ANY topic - without constantly re-inventing the same loony catch-phrases and inappropriate analogies, there's a serious logical disconnect going on here. And it has nothing to do with whether anyone's mocking her. It's personality, not reaction.

Besides all that, I enjoy mocking someone so mockworthy.

Prok's crapfest about them was no different that its crapfest about furry avs, penii, content creators (or, as it liked to call them, "content barons." Yes, really.), and so on. Nobody cared then, nobody cares now- the only entity I've ever seen that claimed Prok played a key role in [insert kneejerk panic attack du jour]'s suppression IS Prok itself.

And trust me, I've been dealing with it since '04. I'm not only innured to the effects of its Sphere Of Dumb, but I also know that of which I speak. Heh.

Hello there everyone! I have not posted much here in SLU but I am one of those that does check in and follow the threads. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that I appreciate the discussions and debates that are posted here.

My main reason for posting now is just to say that I agree with your above post Cindy and just checking off the Agreed button didn't seem to be enough. I don't know what happened to this person along the way....but obviously something is just not quite right there. As soon as the next conspiracy pops into this person's head....I'm sure there will be another storm of controversy brewed. That's just what this person does....creates drama.

Anyway, I wish I were able to put my thoughts into words as eloquently as you and many others here are able to. Maybe that will be a skill I shall develop over time.
