I can't compete in that arena.
How else are people supposed to respond to poorly spelled, rambling, incoherent rants, layered on top of the constant ad hominem backdrop of how much better you are than everyone else?

Hi Everybody! I'm Poddy!

Poim is more coherent and obviously older but the content is very similar.

Then again I guess a lot of people on the internetz talk about their expertness in every field/connection to experts in every field
My guess is that you are not quite right but are very close and that there is a reason for the similarity.

Or it could be a coincidence, and there is no explanation beyond "crackpot".

Dear christ, the wall of text, it burns us.

Did it stop posting or what? Doesn't look banned. Cris has an 18+ rule for posting on SLU...

Goddamn, I gotta say it.

I love it when Cristiano comes out of the proverbial office, lays the utter smack down in a polite way, and wipes his hands.

He's like Sgt. Hartman, minus the yell.

Let's make it even more confusing.

cannot vs. can not | the alexfiles

And Oxford says:

Both cannot and can not are acceptable spellings, but the first is much more usual. You would use can not when the 'not' forms part of another construction such as 'not only'.

What's truly interesting is that nobody has actually critiqued the glaring omission from the entire original post regarding the most important thing for a grid to have:

Content permissions. Absent adequate IP protection (and yes, I know how easy it is to steal IP in SL, but still) you cannot have any sort of virtual marketplace, and absent that market, it will be difficult to convince residents to design content for free. Now, you can always go a different route and have all the content be company-designed, but then you get into the packaged, pre-fab look that turns a lot of users away.

What makes SL unique among virtual worlds is the ability for users to create their own content, and then to transfer or sell that content, with adequate (although not perfect) usage restrictions to another resident, and to even make a profit doing so. The economic incentives and competition serve to increase the quality of content as well.
