My Mood:    | While Sony's Home (which has been in development forever and delayed multiple times) is SL like in some ways, the story is misrepresenting the MS side. The XBOX update is a revamp of the XBOX 360's UI. As part of that, it does now include avatars (designed by Rare) that are similar in concept to the Mii avatars on the Nintendo Wii. While there will be some group functionality where you can be together in a virtual environment and some games will support avatars, it is not a virtual world. I believe the new Netflix streaming integration will allow you to watch a movie together with friends, for example, and some XBOX Live games will have avatar support for playing together.
