I think Mr. CentralGrid knows that. SLU has likely been the greatest thing to keep that grid in people's minds. It is the cheapest marketing he could get.

I will say this.. the time I spent in CG it was normal people doing normal stuff and a staff providing a service for them. Like most grids including SL there are very nice builds and some you look at funny and then remember it is someone's creativity involved lol. There were things that impressed me like the newbie landing area that looked very professional and helpful and things that I didn't like for instance a profile that was advertising a casino and a ad farm setup close by where the newbies land. But, it is not SL or anywhere else. They will find their nitch.

I gave Cathy Rockstar tons of crap, but I agreed when Mr. CentralGrid was made to be direct with my questioning and not troll him anymore. I still remember the stuff that happened and am not about to say go to CG to people, but for the sake of the people that are there and the hard work it takes to maintain a grid (it is so far from just taking OpenSim code and making a turn key business that it is not even funny) I hope they do well for themselves. I also hope Frank takes all that was said that was direct and not just trolling under consideration and learn and grow from it. But, at the end of the day there are a few owners there and they will decide with the people footing the bill what to do. I have never been convinced Frank was a scam artist, I just think he is over confident and very shady at times lol. I think he would agree though.

I dunno, watching Sakai and the stuff he does to keep OpenLife going gave me a new respect for what these people go through. As for the OP, I am sure they are a very good person and I have no reason to doubt what they say.. but I am not going to internet lawyer this one.
