Worst press release ever:
Quote:
Central Grid has moved to become the first grid using the OpenSim platform to bring inworld currency to it's users. They will be called Cyber Coins with C$ being it's active symblol. OpenSim Grid's have all been fairly equal untill now. There has been no true way to establish an economy. This will now be possible in CG. Currency has been active in a private test grid for some time now to ensure that it functions properly and is secure. There also has been extensive work to create an exchange sytem on the website for users to be able to purchse, trade to other avatars, and sell Cyber Coins. CG will be selling C$ at the rate of C$200 to $1.00 USD. We will be working this week to add it to Central Gird. CG currently has 2228 user accounts with 2596 avatars and 348 regions. The current monthly tier fee for regions is $75.00 USD. This rate will be changing to $100.00 USD once the Cyber Coins become active. All regions that are currently online or that are activated before the Cyber Coins go live will lock in their monthly tier rate at the $75.00. We have also recently added several more servers to allow for the expected rapid increase of regions. Come join in the excitement as Central Grid pushes beyond the limits of OpenSim.
Aside from the terrible typos in a PR piece (symblols? Really?), the announcement that this new currency will cause the price of a new sim to go up is ludicrous. 100 bucks a month? Why not just spend 75 a month and get an OpenSpace on LL's grid? Or, I dunno, 10 bucks a month and connect a Colo box to one of the other non-shady Grids?

They might be fuckers, but at least they're not scummy fuckers like Centralgrid.

I find this statement very arrogant and showing a total lack of knowledge of OpenSim for someone trying to lead a virtual world off the tech.

Anyone that reads anything about OpenSim beyond grabbing the code and banking off it knows that the hooks to transact with a currency is already installed, just not enabled. Just because they went with an outside source does not mean they are moving beyond limitations.

Will this new C buck thing be backed by "The Linden Bank"? Frank has shown a stellar business sense in the virtual world so far as Jasper Tizzy. I can't wait to see the success of more money in his hands to manage.

I can only go off your Google links. I will be happy to watch the video and will be the first to say if I see something contrary to your reputation that convinces me you would be a safe bet to invest money in. Who is metaverse TV btw? Who produces it?

And since you are here how about answering the question that was buried in the snark. Who is backing and protecting the investment of people who buy your C bucks?

I see you stating on blogs like the one listed above SL is a GAME and emphasizing that as if the money involved were useless because the TOS of LL says so. What is to stop you from rolling up CentralGrid and walking away if it does not make the money you hope it does? Will you say then that the C buck is worthless and Central Grid is a game?

I can only go from how you reacted and handled a situation involving a few million lindens. If Central Grid becomes what you hope it will who is going to protect the investments of your customers?

Do you have a long term plan that you will disclose here to show that they will be covered. This thread is the number one google link about this announcement so it may be good for you to do.

Notice who the other people are in that video.

1. Sounds like big ideals that ended badly. Didn't change my mind yet, sorry. Just seems to be a promo for you made well before the whole thing came crashing down.

2. Who should I notice in the video? I see a hostess I have never heard of and you.

3. The website for Metaverse TV looks a lot like the CG website style but owned by someone else. Odd that.

So, it was a promo for you and a chance for you to show off your shiny hud and tell of the plans that failed.

What was this supposed to show me about your ex-avi Jasper Tizzy? What did you want me to see?

1st if you watch that video, you will get the idea that bank deposits were turned into land developments and rented to pay interest on bank deposits.
After jasper left SL and gave every asset to the person who was the president of the company already. Then this persone made the statement that the land had nothing to do with the bank. LOL not true.
He then gave all the land, stocks and assets over to the owner of BNT / Ace Stock Exchange, who then bragged that he made off with all the money.

Which all occurred including your getting out when the stocks were down to making, what was it? .01L a share or something?

And no need to speak of Jasper as a third party. We already know who we are dealing with here and it would be more respectful if you quit acting like alt accounts, etc were separate identities.

Ah crud.. gotta go for now. I will check back when I can for the answers.

Someone sold 1 million shares at market price, the stock was at 3.45 - 3.75 per share average, just had done a 3-1 split a week prior when it was at 30 L$ per share. He drove it to .02 L$, all attempts to buy back shares didnt work. The happy buyers were now selling at .05 and happy.

AVC Started with 1 million shares at 1L$ at the end was 3x per share to everyone and still at 3.45 - 3.75 per share

People made alot of money in the time of Jasper. Many would be able to see the developments made with the deposits they added to the bank, and also watched as the income came in to the development and the interest was paid.

Here are some of the developments, there was 28 mainland sims total.

wba-advertising

Say what you want about things you have the facts for. To tell lies and promote BS media you found on google is sometimes not 100% correct.

In the video you see Patrickj Ah, the gut was there for that showm and then later when Jasper quit and gave everything to him to continue with.. he said the land is all cgi property and not the bank, he had 81% of CGI stock and was the president.

He threw Jasper under the bus, and since then Jasper has been building and growing Central Grid.
Central Grid is owned by Spider Advertising, Inc. a rl Corporation since 2005. 4 equal owners with Jasper as one of them.

Test the water for yourself, if you like the way you are treated at Central Grid, then stay there, if not sorry. But we aim to please customers. Ask some of them.

So, still no answers to my questions except a explanation from Jasper who is speaking about Jasper as if he is in the third person.

The google links show an awful lot of history and I am not as ready to call them B.S. as I am to call your side of it B.S. since your side of the story conflicts so widely with what people who invested in you once are saying.

So, is Central Grid a game Frank/Cathyrockstar/Jasper/Maltos, etc etc etc? Is Central Grid just a game and if it fails are people out of luck again because it is simply play money involved?

I think we have the answer to that already. Oh, and the "time of Jasper" led up to the day the stocks fell and everything was going down. At that point it seems you just vanished for a few days while people panicked and sweated it out. At least that is what the google results show.

You disagree with what a ton of google links say.. no surprise there.

Testing the waters is a hell of a gamble for someone to invest RL money in you and hope there is no repeat of running when the situation starts to go bad.

Macphisto Angelus;Sorry to over look your questions.

Central Grid is a real business, we dont see it as a game. But the currency is fictional money.

With my sl business, 1st off it was not just me, I had partners in everything.
I got involved with Central Grid and wanted to get more serious with it. I was acting CEO of the company in sl. I left it all to the top shareholder and president to do what he felt was right. He gave it all to Intlibber of BNT and gave bank customers nothing.

I didnt pay LL tier fees and just let them suspend my avatar. A choice to give the money back to the investors and not pay LL. Many investors did get paid back, there was more assets left behind than what investors had invested. I never expected it to go the way it did.
<y opinion is that Intlibber was broke and needed money fast, and my CGI president found it a way to give it all to Intlibber to bail him out and let Jasper look like the bad guy.

At 1st I didnt care much since I yelled and the sl-newspaper didnt want to hear me.

But now its all in the facts.

OK, I will keep digging. I read where you had sad that about Intlibber before. Do any of your ex partners in the SL bank business stand by what you are saying here?

Through this all no matter how it looked I have honestly been researching it with an open mind. You keep saying the facts tell the truth but all I see are the same stories at different links and nothing holding up your story.

When you came here originally you were posing as a person who just owned some land in CG and knew the owners. Needless to say the revelation that this was not the case did not throw a lot into your credibility.

I am a huge fan of the OpenSim project and love to see the grids popping up around that have potential to be better then LL's version. At the same time transparency means a lot to me when it comes to who I will join up with. Sadly, that transparancey has not been forthcoming with you being alts. I appreciate the above post more then you know because for once you were addressing the situation as you. Thank you for that.

Cathy is an employee of my old datacenter, she started the posting here. I took over after she was going down hill fast.

If you watch the old video with jasper on the tv late show, you notice the 1st guy playing the banjo is Patrickj Ah, on the other band instruments was his alt random bumbo. They had 80+% of CGI company. The bank was owned by the AVC company. I had all the land in the CGI group to manage the renters access rights. AS said in the tv interview, the money was invested into land developments. Where did CGI get the land from?
Patrick said at the end it was allCGI land and assets and he gave it all to BNT.

Oct 25th 2007, 00:14 BNT Brautigan & Tuck Holdings
by IntLibber Brautigan
CGI Merger Complete

As of this afternoon, the merger of Countless Galaxies into Brautigan & Tuck Holdings is now complete. All shares other than those held by Jasper Tizzy or Paydayloan Lindman, or their alts, have been swapped in a trade of 2 BNT shares for every 3 CGI shares. Final dispersal was over 3.2 million shares of BNT to CGI investors.

The mainland assets of CGI have been liquidated. This accounts for approximately 220,000 square meters of mainland left to CGI after Jasper Tizzy's disappearance (over 650,000 square meters were held by CGI a month prior, indicating a rather massive selloff by Tizzy.

Proceeds of this liquidation amounted to approximately 1.6 million L$ at an average price of 6.5 L$ per square meter, slightly above SL average sale prices for the month. Capital from these sales went into several major projects of BNT: The Ancapistan Capital Exchange and http://www.ancapex.net, as well as the complete revamping, replacement, and rebranding of My Second Bank into BNT Financial (http://www.bntfinancial.com), as well as the further development of bntholdings.com, and the merger of Global Credit into BNT.

BNT Holdings has now completed four major mergers of companies into it: Mind the Box, M2B, Global Credit, and CGI. All of these, as well as the launch of ACE, represent key components of BNT's long term plan to become a dominant estate company in SL, and eventually launch our own independent grid, the Extropia Grid, next year.

To their credit, the stockholders of CGI have played a key role in helping to ensure that plan moves forward, as they have now become BNT shareholders, and we welcome them to the BNT family. We congratulate them, as well as lead shareholder Patrickj Ah in leading CGI to making this decision. They are already seeing the fruits of that decision in the stock price of BNT on the ACE exchange.

I thank you and congratulate you all on your wisdom and ability to see and appreciate the vision of BNT.

IntLibber Brautigan
CEO, BNT Holdings
