My Mood: | this thread is a hoot... i just joined central grid - it's free like SL, with the same interface - and gee, no charge for uploads! means i can upload to my hearts content as i build and create and then bring the final, finished product to SL... just the first of my "brilliant" ideas. LOL. i love SL but i also love the concept of a metaverse - and when i check the opensimulator.org growing list of grids open for membership and exploration ( Grid List - OpenSim ), my heart skips a beat )so many worlds to explore - so little time! |

When you're dealing with a grid operated by skeevy people that's really not a good thing. All of the other grids are free and use the same viewer as well. Or just download OpenSim and run it offline. | |

My Mood: | Oh miss shill, how're you? "About Central Grid: The Central Grid Team CEO /Building Project Mrg. He is one of the Central Grid founders and developer of the Central Grid Website. He also manages the many grid and web servers that makes up Central Grid. " With me so far? Great. SL Exchange Good to look at that top post right there, left by Jasper Tizzy, who leaves his name as Frank Corsi. Cos Frank Corsi/Jasper Tizzy has a good long google trail behind him. ![]() SL Exchange "This e-mail i´ve found in my spam folder: Come join me on Central Grid. I wish all many luck at Central Grid Wink" Countless Galaxies Stockholders Meeting, Background, part 1 | Orient Lodge Really interesting link there, but here's the highlights: "Other research revealed that his servers had been used for spam back in 2004" Email Abuse and Spam - [ahbl] Details on WorldWide Connect Cart00ney Your2ndPlace | Our Realities. Our Worlds. And for the kicker! MNN - Central Grid confirms association with Jasper Tizzy "On Monday, Central Grid’s CEO Marcus Vendetta (real life Mark King) confirmed Jasper Tizzy (real life Frank Corsi) is one of the four owners of the Central Grid Project. Other owners include Granger Underwood (real life Matthew McGinnis), Barb Carson (real life Barbara Newman-Zitka). Vendetta said there was never an attempt to hide Tizzy’s association with Central Grid by any of the parties who formed or were heavily involved in the organization. MNN conducted a two-week investigation of Tizzy’s association with Central Grid, and his real life background. MNN interviewed five sources, and consulted volumes of background information, which raised concerns about Tizzy’s involvement in Central Grid." I really suggest you read that top link in full, apparently Mr. Corsi's scamming is not reserved for virtual worlds. "Las Vegas was a popular location for corporations formed by one of Tizzy’s more notorious real life partners, Lonnie Divine. Divine ran purported charities, and other alleged scams including magazine sales. Divine was sentenced to 18-months of prison time for tax evasion, according to the June 7, 2005 San Diego Union-Tribune. The convicted Divine ran two businesses with connections to Tizzy (real life Corsi). One business was the Internet spam producer World Wide Connect. According to spamhaus.org, an independent not-for-profit anti-spam resource, World Wide Connect was a substantial source of spam during the first part of this decade. But Tizzy’s connection with Divine doesn’t end there. Just as Tizzy’s the Bank was going bankrupt, he unveiled a Mastercard debit card system where depositors could trade their Linden dollars into real dollars. On Aug. 10, Tizzy announced the acquisition of World Wide Connect, owned by Lonnie Dagger, as part of the debit card scheme. One of the websites used for the Mastercard debit card scheme was worldwidebanquecarte.com. This website was registered to Lonnie Divine, and the WHOIS information obtained by MNN used the same Las Vegas address for Divine’s spam operation. Divine has created numerous corporations in Nevada, but most of these corporations were administratively dissolved by the state—in most cases for failure to file required yearly paperwork. Tizzy has a similar record. He has created numerous corporations, but most were dissolved for failure to submit required reports. Tizzy’s Indiana company, Private Web Communities, Inc. is late filing its required reports, and could be subject to administrative dissolution too." So miss shill, would you like me to google-foo the other founders' names as well? Pwned, I believe yes. Last edited by Joshua Nightshade; 07-01-2008 at 08:55 AM. |

Jasper Tizzy of Atlas Venture Capital (AVC) Allegedly Runs off with 150K of ISE's Capital (Resolved) | Your2ndPlace Did you ready the post below? actualy 2 hrs after the post was made? Situation Update Submitted by Cadence Juran on Tue, 08/21/2007 - 08:51. According to a posting on the ISE website by the International Stock Exchange CEO Cocky Dagger, the funds were just returned by Jasper Tizzy and this situation has been resolved. https://www.intlstockexchange.com/displaypressrelease.php?releaseid=193 Cadence Juran, CEO Crescendo Corporation The facts.. Frank had fired Cadence Juran that day, as she was working for him doing PR. She posted this after Frank left the ISE stock exchange, she was mad and made this posting. ISE had a CD in the bank, and Frank had to release the funds so they could withdraw. -------------------------- NEXT ------------------------------------- the MNN report... Did you forget to post the reply at that message? CommentsAdd NewSearch Frank Corsi - ?????????????????? | | 2008-03-04 09:42:25 It is very frustrating to read this article. Central Grid was asked by Runeswan to rebutt the SL Newpaper article of March 2. We did with the press release which is buried deeply in this article with hyperlinks that don't even work. This article refers almost entirely to Lonnie Devine who is not even involved in Central Grid in any way and has never been my partner. Lonnie hired me to design webpages for him on several occasions. Any spamming accusations are related to activities of customers through data centers for which I was chief technical officer. I built a datacenter named Network 5. This was part of a publicly traded US company Internet Advisory Corp. The shares sold to many people, Scores Entertainment bought out many shares and took over the company. I resigned and moved on, later the datacenter assets were sold to Lonnie Divine - Worldwide Connect. Prior to the take over of the datacenter, Scores did alot of porn spam on that block of Ip addresses. Here is some proof of the facts. SCORES HOLDING CO INC - SCRH Quarterly Report of Financial Condition (10QSB) ITEM 1. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS PAGE Toward the bottom.... I was then hired by Lonnie to clean up the mess that was left behind after scores stripped the company and change the company name to Scores Holdings inc. If you dont know Scores, they are an adult entertainment group in NY city, connected to Howard Stern. Here is all that spamhaus reported - Go Entertainment, Inc. on Frank Corsi's 216.129.160.0/20 The Spamhaus Project - Security Scores using my Ip address blocks to spam under, after i resigned and scores took over they were the owner of the ip blocks, they never took my name off the ARIN registry. What would be interesting to know is how a 2 week investigation turns up such inaccurate and FALSE information and results in a story that talks excessively about someone who isn't even involved in Central Grid at all. It is a stretch to say the least that because Central Grid Connecting Virtual Worlds - Virtual Land Using Opensim Avatar has a NV mailbox that I am partners with Lonnie Devine. I am a web developer just because my default contact information goes to my mailbox in Nevada does mean anything. Centralgrid.net and Centralgrid.org go nowhere as we never set the dns active. Thousands of people have mailboxes in Nevada. All 7 people who requested a Debit card through World Wide Connect in Second Life were refunded because card delivery was delayed. Besides, that is not even relevant to Central Grid. The reason you couldn't find the corperate information is because Central Grid Inc, is an active corporation currrently under the name Spider Advertising Inc. registered in Indiana, NOT Nevada as you have assumed. All Owners of Spider Advertising are the same as the owners of Central Grid. Name change to Central Grid Inc. has been pending. So where do we go to rebutt your article? An article reporting seriously flawed investigative practices but printing them in response to a completely different story you requrested. MNN would do well to actually talk about the rebuttal we were asked for. |

My Mood: | Tizzy responds to MNN report Written by Ash Fitzpatrick Thursday, 06 March 2008 It was revealed earlier this week that Jasper Tizzy (real life Frank Corsi) was one of four owners of Central Grid. Corsi was a controversial Second Life personality who led a bank, which collapsed, and was surrounded by allegations of a past connected with spam, and an association with a convicted felon, Lonnie Divine. Corsi responded through a release sent to MNN and posted on our website denying connections with spam. Corsi’s name appears on two Spamhaus.org listings, and an detailed dispute with The Abusive Hosts Blocking List as late as 2004. Spamhaus.org contains links to other allegations via usenet of Corsi’s datacenter creating spam as early as 1997 and 1998. Corsi said in 2004 and in the release that these allegations of spam were unfair. He and World Wide Connect, owned by Lonnie Divine, were wrongly listed, according to Corsi. The spam came from other sources contained in the datacenter not under Corsi’s control, he said. “Any spamming accusations are related to activities of customers through data centers for which I was chief technical officer,” Corsi said. “I built a datacenter named Network 5. This was part of a publicly traded US company Internet Advisory Corp. The shares sold to many people, Scores Entertainment bought out many shares and took over the company. I resigned and moved on, later the datacenter assets were sold to Lonnie Divine - Worldwide Connect. Prior to the take over of the datacenter, Scores did alot of porn spam on that block of Ip addresses.” Corsi said that Divine is not connected in anyway with the Central Grid organization. He said it was unfair to include him in any reports. During MNN’s investigation of Central Grid, the company provided conflicting information about the corporate structure. At first, the company was not incorporated, but soon would be. Then the company was incorporated as Central Grid, Inc. Lastly, the release stated the company was operating under an Indiana corporation called Spider Advertising. Spider Advertising is owned equally by Corsi, Central Grid CEO Mark King, Matthew McGinnis and Barbara Newman-Zitka, Central Grid said. According to the Indiana Secretary of State’s office, Spider Advertising is current on its required filings, and Corsi is the company’s registered agent. King is listed as the vice-president, and Newman-Zitka is the corporate secretary. The company was created in 2005. King said the WHOIS information for Central Grid was changed to “avoid confusion.” King said the name on the WHOIS would be changed to Central Grid once the official name change was completed. |

My Mood: | Part 1 Central Grid defends association with Tizzy MNN - Central Grid defends association with Tizzy Written by special to MNN Monday, 03 March 2008 Editor's note: This is the complete text of a statement to MNN by Mark King, CEO of Central Grid. We are posting the entire document unedited for the information of the SL community. Central Grid, Inc. is a real world incorporated company founded by Mr. Mark King, (SL Avatar Marcus Vendetta). Mr. King as CEO formed a group of owners including Mr. Matthew McGinnis (Granger Underwood), Dr. Barbara Newman-Zitka (Barb Carson) and Mr. Frank Corsi (Jasper Tizzy). There is no controlling ownership position within the company. Central Grid is a 3D virtual world using the Opensource technology. The Grid is unlike any other and is poised to be the leader in Opensource grids with its unique server systems and aggressive marketing plan to capture both the recreational user as well as real world businesses as they seek to assimilate into the next wave of the internet. Mr. King and Dr. Newman-Zitka have spearheaded ground breaking resident developed governance to assure that resident run commerce is ethical and fair. Patent pending web programming developed personally by Mr. Corsi himself will catapult Central Grid to the forefront of these emerging grids as a unique and technologically advanced alternative to other Opensource grids that share the same Opensource platform. Expertise brought by Mr. McGinnis assures Central Grid is current with Opensource advancements and server technology to best serve our customers. Central Grid, Inc. is truly unique when all existing virtual worlds and emerging Opensource platforms are examined. There have never been attempts to cover up Mr. Corsi's involvement in this project. Many in Second Life and Central Grid, as reported, have communicated with Mr. Corsi since December 2007 as they have contemplated moving into Central Grid. In fact, present estate owners speak to Mr. Corsi and often other owners of Central Grid on skype or via email as questions or issues arise. What is now clear is that many in Second Life have chosen to perpetuate inaccurate and incomplete information regarding Mr. Corsi and his business as Jasper Tizzy. Central Grid Inc. will no longer allow these rumors to go unanswered and as a collective group will publicly clarify the facts again. Jasper Tizzy was controlling shareholder in The Bank, AVC and CGI. The next major shareholder was avatar PatrickJ Ah and his alternate accounts. On August 10th, in an effort to begin merger of all companies under the AVC umbrella, The Bank was merged into AVC. A series of events then occurred essentially crippling these companies and bringing about their failure. These events are outlined as follows: 1. Lucia Bay is acquired by AVC for stock. 2. Xavier Hathaway (previous owner of Lucia Bay) sells a large amount of AVC shares at market price bringing AVC stock value from approximately 4L to under 1L. Continued frenzied sell off makes stock recovery impossible. It should be on the record that Xavier Hathaway went to Jasper Tizzy, essentially admitting he erred in his stock sale and was upset about his mistake. Jasper Tizzy, without a need to do so, returned Lucia Bay to Xavier Hathaway incurring cost of tier and fees. 3. Teanna Nomura sells approximately 800,000 shares of AVC stock during this frenzy. 4. Kristatos mall sim is sold by Teanna Nomura (Jasper Tizzy personally refunded renters who were evicted The Secondlife Newspaper FINANCE: Kristatos Mall Vanishes, Land Sold, Tenants Stranded). These events leave bank depositors feeling uneasy and many opted to withdraw their cash from The Bank. As an example, one depositor, Rodders Holdago CEO of PLT Group and 8 Dragons bank withdrawing 2 million Linden Dollars said " After a cordial conversation with Jasper Tizzy of The Bank, PLTs CD of $2 Million was paid back in full. I would like to personally thank Mr. Tizzy and all the staff at The Bank for their outstanding service. They have always fulfilled its obligations, and I wish The Bank and AVC the very best of luck in the future." http://www.intlstockexchange.com/dis...&releaseid=231 As withdrawal requests increased, Jasper Tizzy in accordance with The Bank's policy to honor withdrawals without restriction, authorized sale of a portion of company land. This land, which was bought with capital from The Bank, was held by CGI rental group for management purposes. Mr. Corsi was on real world business and not as available as usual which some felt was an indication that he had left with money. He categorically did not. These blatantly disruptive accusations in combination with a death in Mr. Corsi's family resulted in his decision to leave Second Life. Mr. Corsi contacted Tobia Forcelli of VSTEX to have all stocks and company assets transferred to PatrickJ Ah. Blog - Vstex.net - Virtual Stock Exchange Trading of the stock was halted while this was arranged. PatrickJ Ah was required to add to group tier contribution to cover the remaining land held by CGI but never had to pay for this land. Mr. Corsi indicated to PatrickJ that PayDay was depositing money into The Bank to honor withdrawals and when this would occur. The Secondlife Newspaper FINANCE: Countless Galaxies Shareholders Meet, Mull Options. Jasper Tizzy then was gone was Second Life. |

My Mood: | Part 2 Central Grid defends association with Tizzy http://metanetworknews.tv/content/view/76/51/ The events taking place after Jasper Tizzy's departure were never directed or authorized by him nor did Frank Corsi receive 1L from sale of any frozen asset or stock left behind. Below is a summary of the events following Jasper Tizzy's departure along with links to pertinent quotes made in the SL press. PatrickJ Ah states that he takes his money out of The Bank. http://sl-newspaper-bnc.blogspot.com...ders-meet.html This occurs in conjunction with his knowledge of the timing of deposits meant to cover depositors. Some claim they were banned from bank land at this same time. PatrickJ Ah unilaterally decides he will not combine all company assets to pay out investors. This essentially fractures the association between The Bank/AVC and CGI. PatrickJ says in response to a shareholder's idea of asset combination "I saw this person's point, However, I am not in favor of that." http://sl-newspaper-bnc.blogspot.com...ders-meet.html. Furthermore two days earlier PatrickJ Ah says "I want to move CGI forward. I want to turn this into a positive thing for SL if possible, instead of taking the land and selling it." The Secondlife Newspaper FINANCE: Ah Denies Receiving Tizzy Assets, Preserves CGI Assets for Investors Mr. Corsi, upset that The Bank/AVC's assets were in essence usurped by CGI, used the alt Fredy Vita attempting to publicly expose this abuse. The Secondlife Newspaper FINANCE: Weekly Business Review - 30 Sept 07 A vote controlled by 6 people (two of which are PatrickJ and his alt) holding 89% of CGI is reported resulting in merger of CGI with BNT. The Secondlife Newspaper FINANCE: CGI Approves BNT Merger It bears noting at that time it was stated again that the plans were to hold the remaining land assets and not sell. On September 30, 2007 Intlibber Brautigan is quoted as saying "Jasper thought then that BNT would be merged into CGI, not the other way around, and that probably would have been the case if he had not kept up his irresponsible policy of no withdrawal limits during the banking crisis. After the public had drained L$10 million from The Bank, it was a different story. We had discussed it a bit more, but then he left and Patrickj Ah took over and he and I negotiated and completed the deal we have today." The Secondlife Newspaper FINANCE: Weekly Business Review - 30 Sept 07 This we consider an admission that assets of The Bank/AVC and CGI were considered linked and therefore CGI land bought with money invested in The Bank was the property of AVC investors. Also please note even Mr. Brautigan admits that Jasper Tizzy didn't receive money but the public did. Mr. Tizzy didn't consider people withdrawing their own money as a drain. Intlibber Brautigan of BNT sells all CGI land and uses all raised capital, 1.6 million Lindens for his own purposes. Quoting Mr. Brautigan "Proceeds of this liquidation amounted to approximately 1.6 million L$ at an average price of 6.5 L$ per square meter, slightly above SL average sale prices for the month. Capital from these sales went into several major projects of BNT: The Ancapistan Capital Exchange and http://www.ancapex.net, as well as the complete revamping, replacement, and rebranding of My Second Bank into BNT Financial (http://www.bntfinancial.com), as well as the further development of bntholdings.com, and the merger of Global Credit into BNT." http://ancapex.net/home/story/BNT/8 The facts are clear. The Bank/AVC investors purchased the land held in CGI and the companies were clearly linked. Jasper Tizzy adhered to an ethical banking policy whereby depositors had unrestricted access to 100% of their money at any time. The land sell off to honor these withdrawals was coincidental to his departure and he did not profit in any way from it. All stocks and remaining land were left in the care of PatrickJ Ah who unilaterally chose to disregard legitimate claim to the remaining land and stock value by The Bank/AVC investors and give the land to BNT which was promptly sold, contrary to their own plan of holding the land as assets, and used the money for its own purposes. It bears noting that the remaining land was developed and fully rented. This was income which would only strengthen company value. These renters by and large were evicted without notice or refund and objects autoreturned. The surprise, inconvenience and object loss incurred by these people due to the actions of BNT understandably added to the anger toward Jasper Tizzy as many of the renters were not aware of Jasper's departure. We also make clear that The Bank/AVC investors saw none of the money raised from the sell off which they had rightful claim to. Central Grid Inc. feels the facts speak loudly and clearly in this matter. Central Grid Inc. is a legitimate real world corporation with Frank Corsi as one, non controlling owner. While some of those involved in these matters have continued to operate in Second Life using these same tactics, Frank Corsi has directed his experience, skills and real world reputation as a pioneer in internet development to move forward with Central Grid as a virtual world which is so much more than a game. It will be a platform that offers unparallel opportunities for business and recreation rivaling real life experiences. Central Grid Inc. has no affiliation with any of these people despite any assertions by them to the contrary. Any of those related to these affairs that may be in Central Grid are there in the capacity as any other server owner on the grid and has paid their way similarly. It should be clear that Central Grid has encouraged and worked very hard to stimulate resident based policies and standards to prevent the actions of some of these players from occurring in Central Grid and has a strong stance via its Terms of Service and mission to expunge illegal activity from Central Grid. Central Grid Inc. understands how perceptions may cloud facts in these matters. However, make no mistake that Central Grid Inc. is a legitimate company moving forward to create the connection platform of the next internet wave. We operate ethically, legally and in full transparency. It should be reiterated that Central Grid Inc. is actively engaging early residents to form governance in an attempt to prevent events such as discussed here from occurring. We invite everyone to be involved in this exciting new project and welcome any questions regarding our company and our mission |

My Mood: | Yes copypasta, I can post stuff too. I think I did a second ago. Wherein I provided close to twenty links of various investigations and anecdotal experiences by others. Not one website with two statements from someone whose business partner is a convicted felon, who has had several companies administratively dissolved by the state of Nevada, who ran off with investments in his now-bankrupt bank ponzi scheme that represented several hundreds of dollars in L$. Shill say what? |
