Cyworld to go 3D - Second life contender?

Cyworld to go 3D - a la 2nd Life

just saw it.. currently seems like IMVU... plus social network element. they seem keen to go 3D.. I hope they realise that user generated content is the way to go...

Im not holding my breath though.

No content creation and no infinitely customizable avatars means it's not anywhere near SL.

It's not even worth the effort then.

Why say they were "inspired by Second Life" if they're not going to offer the features?

As eager as I am to jump ship, these "other worlds" have to at least offer a life boat.

What Second Life are they playing? Second Life provides basic content and the rest is generated by us thank you very much.

I think LL should sue them for defamation. By falsely stating that second life is not about user content, they could potentially cause damage to LL's market position by misleading potential customers.

LL does plenty of damage on their own.

Agreed. They should start a thread on their official forums to organize a lawsuit against themselves.

I'm going to start a real life car company that competes with Porsche. Our cars are focused on performance and speed, something that Porsche cars do not.

At ten miles an hour, kids aged from 4 to 10 will love the breakneck performance of our cars. Unfortunately, any adult who could fit in the seat would likely break the plastic axels with their weight.

It's a pity they've no screenshots for us. Remember the screenshots and how awesome Entropia's new look was going to be?
