Opensim in a browser? What?

This made no sense to me, which is unsurprising, given my defective brain-thing. But can anyone else extract meaning from this post, or the linked web sites?

Unfortunately, I can't find an English page with information about the viewer, but you can check out the OpenSim server solution here. It does look like the viewer is meant to run completely in the browser based on the Japanese demo here, but after trying it in Firefox, Chrome, and IE, I haven't had any luck getting it to work. Given that most of the information is in Japanese, it's always possible I'm doing something wrong, though.

Genkii Blog

They're talking about Sparkle:

"Genkii is very excited to have an article up now on Techcrunch about Sparkle IM, our first virtual world application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The article also goes into some detail about our upcoming developments in Sparkle.

We hope Sparkle IM will be of use to current Second Life and Opensim users and that everyone else is excited about the direction of Sparkle 3D! Check it out and let us know what you think."
