OpenSim 0.6.2.8470 Asset DB Issue? (Mac Host)

Is anybody else out there trying to host OpenSim from a Mac OS X 10.5.6 host?

I have OpenSim 0.6.2.8470 compiled and ready, configured for standalone mode using a MySQL database, and all seems to og off without a hitch as it begins its initial startup and begins populating the database tables until it reaches the asset server portion.

Code:
2009-02-17 17:27:24,324 INFO - OpenSim.Framework.Communications.Cache.AssetServerBase [ASSET SERVER]: Starting asset storage system

2009-02-17 17:27:26,239 INFO - OpenSim.Framework.Communications.Cache.AssetServerBase [ASSET SERVER]: Setting up asset database
As soon as it begins to populate the asset DB it seems to freeze up, and the MySQL connections go idle. I have an identical configuration running in a windows host flawlessly, so I'm fairly certain it's not a misconfiguration in the OpenSim.ini. I am using the current trunk build, but have also tested and found the same result on 0.6.1 r7840 and 0.6.2 r8068

Has anybody else had this issue? Any insight?

Weird, running through sudo solved the problems. Guess it needs elevated permissions

Nevermind, that didn't fix it. Silly thing.

Upgrade a couple of revisions - 8470 was in the middle of some big changes IIRC

Pulled down the trunk build, 0.6.2.8471 and am still having the same issue. Not sure if it's a problem with the MySQL connector, my local MySQL instance, Mono or what..

Not that it's a huge problem, anyway. I'll have my RHEL box back tomorrow.

Might be a global thing temporarily - there have been some huge changes to the asset infrastructure in the last 48 hours.
