XBOX Leaderboard: 19th | 4 sims to play with in opensim (crosspost from project dev forum) I'm working on a project, long-term, experiment sort of thing called Nu Athens. It's been dormant for a few months, but if I ever get some extra time I'll be working on it again. The thing is, as usual, I'm not happy with what's there so far. Thus, I'm going to start over with a better plan for content development. However, due to OpenSim's awesome save-oar and load-oar features, I can distribute entire sims + content with impunity. Thus, I've hosted it on my web server for you to grab (4.8 mb zip file). It contains four sims, each connected. Best viewed in a windlight client at night, with settings such that smog/fog is the order of the day. I'm pretty sure the sim setup is thus: SIM 1 | SIM 2 SIM 3 | SIM 4 to load into opensim (assuming a fairly recent version) change-region sim1 (or whatever it's called) load-OAR nu_athens_1_12062008.tar.gz change-region sim2 load-oar nu_athens_2_12062008.tar.gz and so on. I'm not offering any support. I'm not liable if it eats your hard drive. I'm also releasing the content under Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0. It's in a very rough state, but maybe someone can either admire the work, improve upon it, etc. I know a lot of people are mucking about with OpenSim, so maybe this will be a good springboard for folks.
