Edited to say that I'm not sure why the pic posted upside down but I think I'll leave it that way because in this situation, it works.

Sunshine. Your whole day, short-term and long-term future seems so much brighter when the sun is out. That's because the sun is bright, you say, but you know what I mean.

Also, Butter cookies from Denmark that come in a tin.

I'm getting both, today, so my happy ratio is high.

Today was warm enough for me to go out and run my errands with "just" a long sleeved t-shirt and polarfleece pullover on. No coat, no gloves, no winter hat. The sun is shining. The snow is gone and the ground is thawing. . .

That is something very, very happy.

Today I dragged my 88 years old mother in a rented wheel chair and I walked with her around in the neighborhood a bit. We both enjoyed the sunshine and the first sprimg flowers popping up already.

Yep, that made us both happy.

My new place is feeling like home. I have nearly everything unboxed and gave away all of my boxes yesterday and today. My television is all set up and hooked up to my stereo for really good sound (this is something I never did before -- they weren't next to each other at the old place). I even started organizing my shelves, putting my manga and graphic novels in order (first step was just getting them all on shelves).

Being organized and having everything set up makes me happy!

My new place is kind of cool to walk around too. There are a lot of trees, and paths wind between the trees and apartment buildings. It's hilly so paths go up and down and around hills. There's a lot of wildlife around -- squirrels, birds of all sorts, a raccoon, two ducks walked past my front door yesterday in the rain. Geese fly overhead honking all day. I like it!

seeing my own home lands thru someone elses eyes makes me happy. It helps me to understand who I am and where I belong and to remind me to never take for granted what I have been blessed with

Two things that made me happy today:

1. I won my court case!
2. I disputed a vet bill and won!

I'm full of win today. *marks calendar*

My home rolls on ten wheels (dually pickup and travel trailer). I can adjust my surroundings as frequently as I desire. This week, I've been enjoying a great view of a babbling creek winding through the nearby woods while I work remotely from my desk.

I suppose fairly universal 4G LTE internet coverage ranks a close second and makes the above more practical.

Jean-Luc Courcoult brought his Giants to Liverpool and they have been marching through the city the past few days making everybody happy. They look a bit creepy on film and in pictures, but in reality they are just overwhelming to observe.

I've never seen so many happy people in one place, completely distracted by what's going on. It's all been happening not far from where I live, so when one (or more) of the giants get near, it's hard to resist going out again to see them. I'm gonna be sad when it's all over.

Sinéad O'Connor acknowledged my existence today. This made me happy grin like a Cheshire cat.

You know, it never occurred to me until just now that - being from Cheshire - I suppose I am a Cheshire cat. Sort of.
