Yeah... I'm sure she has some kind of body under there but it's very hard to see with that kind of cut.

Now that said she is cute and I do have to question if it's appropriate for the bus driver to deny her entry while chained. His words were very over the top and do constitute a form of harassment.

On the other hand, modern society has issues with the more extreme forms of the BDSM lifestyle. As I said in another thread, if I had a student report that her mother never wore clothes at home, addressed her father as "master", and was teaching her that a woman's place was in service to a man as his personal slave, I think I might have to report that to the school social worker.

The issue is really where we draw the line with public conduct between "decent exposure" and freedom of.. er... is there such a concept as "Freedom of Kink"?

Serenity, for starters, I assume thebus co. is some of gov't [i.e. tax supported] service. He not only deprived them of service, but verbally harassed them as well as physically assualted them.

YES, he should be fired and darned quick too. Okay, he doesn't like leashes...what about a necklace that appears collar like? piercings? tattoos? maybe clothing styles that he disapproves of?

For goodness sake..he's a BUS DRIVER, not Mr. Blackwell.

Bus driver seriously needs fired, it's not his place to judge anyones lifestyles and it doesn't matter if he or we agree with it or not, theres no reason what so ever they should have been denied access to public transportation. He should have been fired for that, and if for any reason he wasn't he should have been the moment he decided to lay his hands on them.

I do think they are two different issues completely. The bus driver should be fired.

That said, it's possible the issues overlap. A bus driver that goes to work every day and pays his taxes sees these two able-bodied people coming from the subsidized housing at all hours of the day and night, and the anger may not be entirely related to fashion or BDSM.

People who walk around in public with leashes around their necks, do ti for a different reason. They do it for the shock factor. Because they know it will offend and shock people. And probably werent suprised by the bus drivers reaction.

I am just annoyed that they're d/s actions arent done for the right reasons.

Yes, if you don't have a job, you receive job-seeker's allowance which is one of the "benefits" you may receive (others are for disabilities, etc), and if you can't house yourself, you receive a house from the council (which, around 20 or so years ago, the council started to allow people to buy, so they'd own it themselves, but the council charged REALLY cheap rates, so a lot of people got good houses at no cost, sold them, and made lots of money )

Anyways, regardless of all that, in the UK a bus driver is cannot refuse a passenger, as long as they aren't causing a problem - even if you tell them you can't pay (though think this may only relate to kids, not sure, but when I was a kid, I knew people who got lost with no money and could get onto a bus by simply explaining the situation - the bus drivers weren't allowed to abandon the person in distress)

So, yes, I hope he loses his job.
